One beautiful fall day, a wild 5AM, McWavy & ZONE Drums appeared to turn a happy little beat into a happy little song, and “Orange Sunshine” was born! We wrote some lyrics together, arranged it, and tracked some keyboard and saxophone solos to bring it home. We wanted to channel sunlight and good vibes with this tune and we hope it brings a little more light into your life, no matter what season it is :) ⛄️🌷🌞🍁

This cover started off as a remix I created the week before Burning Man, inspired by opportunity to play at Camp Questionmark, the largest bass music stage on the playa. Once I got home I realized I could turn it into an actual cover and with the help of my friend Diamonde (of Siren & Seer) I was able to do just that! Probably the thickest drums and bass I've ever put out so I hope you get to hear it on a big system:)) yip yip!

Daft Punk vs. Adele - "Just add Beyonce" (Mr. Rogers' mashup of Carlos Serranos' mashup) Originally thought this was a day wasted geeking out on the computer, but peeps seem to love it. 

Didn't do too much, just mashed in some Beyonce.

All of these songs were in my head for a week straight, going in and out of each other, mixing perfectly inside my brain...

Dirtwire is a traveler’s collage of Earth-borne instruments and electronic sounds foraged from Electric Forest to the mountains of Tuva. From their home on the west coast of the United States to far-flung destinations all over the world, these troubadours are welcomed for speaking the most unifying language there is: music.

Every live set is a magician’s surprise show, an invitation to experience instruments that are usually heard only as samples in electronic music.
