Eggplant Purple Moves is electricity beyond culture, raw wonder facing the unknown.

A wild and mangy mash-up of styles align, lighting on genres from across this electronic world, always bouncing further, backed by endless weird samples. 

Every mix is a colossal trick, unraveling between humour and oh-so-dead-seriousness. The only constant is that the moves are always decidedly purple.

EPM would love to push you into a transcendent spine tingle, but would be almost as pleased to offer a damn catchy good time. Almost. 

He never thought he could join in with the others offering transportational audio to mangle reality. But then one day in 2012 curiosity finally won out. 

EPM began twiddling synth knobs and passing countless hours scouring the internet, soaking in musical wisdom with childlike excitement. The sound started to take shape - and continues to - beckoning to listeners with fresh abandon...

OneAmbient4, composer of layered ambient, space ambient and electronic music. Since the 1970's when electronic music made its way into my life, starting with Switched On Bach, Tomita, JMJ, and others, I became very interested in electronic music. But then, the equipment was too expensive to own. So I waited.... Along came computers and later VSTi's and software. Also the Synths have dropped in price. With the help of others, here I am. Dirty Inputs is Aaron Dawson, a musician and VJ based in Toronto, Canada. Dawson was part of the ambient drone collective Off The International Radar and has shared the stage with the likes of Holy Fuck, A Place To Bury Strangers, Junior Boys, Hauschka, Quintron, Expo 70, Nadja and many others.

Having grown up in a small town in the Rocky Mountain foothills of western Canada, moving to the continent’s fourth largest metropolis has produced conflicting desires for nature and technology. Dirty Inputs’ euphoric synth-driven soundscapes search for the beach between these desires, between the beautiful and the terrifying. This focus has created a body of work that is often dark and brooding, and other times joyful and emotional. It is an attempt to strip away the hype and rhetoric in society to reveal the plain truths and humble existence of humankind staring into the void.
