One of the most cerebral, abstract and enigmatic Artist ever exist Marcus P Redmond Jr (Born May 24, 1992), better known by his stage name MpR Marula Tree, is an American Hip Hop rapper, basic engineer, actor, New Age Hippie and social Activist. This Local Artist from the West side of the City of Chicago had solid dreams of becoming a music entertainer with passionate diverse Hip Hop. MpR’s parents who were also talented, had a keen ear for great music, inspired him to pursue his passion for music. MpR’s parents would practically recite the lyrics to every song from Gospel, R&B and love for Hip Hop. MpR’s mother would freestyle to the down beat as the song was ending and that inspired MpR to do the same thing with his music. At the age 12 MpR began to write raps over the end beats and develop full songs from it, he would take the song lyrics and use them for songs with live instruments to perform at church and school.
 He attended Columbia College for 2 years to obtain more knowledge on with his writing skills. Though, he didn’t complete his 2 years for financial issues he went back to doing music at home. He didn’t give up, MpR began to engineer with his own recording equipment and submitting his songs to Record Labels, A&R’s, and beat makers for networking purposes and constructive feedback. In the process he developed a Group called “Misfits and Outcast for the looked over Underdogs” with the members of “Only on A Sunday” (known as Sunday), as Markiss and including MpR. MpR’s used tactics and network relationships this promoted the group to perform all over the city of Chicago and the city outskirts and other cities out of town and to hang out with many popular music talents. MnO (Misfits and Outcast) turned down many contact deals and agreements that suppressed their need to express their lyrics that reflects their generation up town beat. Though, they had sponsorship and small endorsements, that wasn’t enough, the group remain underground.
 The appetite to be successful was still hunting his soul, MpR moved back in forth from Chicago to Arkansas until he decided to remain in Arkansas to improve his talent. He had goals for himself and his cohort MnO. And starting a new chapter was the key to expressing his music that would give him an introspective, self-observing, self -analyzing, and an examining mind for music. He knew that Success would be granted with each Song he wrote, each Lyric he rapped, and each Beat he Played. That was his Destiny!
