Fourth guest of our series is Solarmental, aka Gio Gugava is techno producer from Tbilisi, Georgia. His music is dark, full of dramatic melodies and mystic voices. Similar to research of sounds and rhythms, his sets are not only 4x4 techno, but also broken beats and raw experiments. Giving priority to cold, atmospheric and mental sounds, Solarmental takes you to the battle of light and darkness.
Solarmental has releases on labels like Parabola Records, Unheard. In 2019 becoming a resident on Platz fur Tanz. His latest Ugly Paradise EP shows romantic and dramatic side of the artist, staring with 'Seekers Of The Faith' as the dancefloor choice, taking you further to feel the tragedy and the relieve of title track.

Poly Stage Series 04 - Solarmental

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @tapefeed for its thirty sixth episode of Amplify Series.

Tapefeed is an electronic music project realised out of a collaboration from two Italian artists, Alessandro Boni and Rick Vayo. Currently based in London and Berlin.

The duo’s sounds encompass a rich array of styles from techno to experimental, raw percussion to 4/4 all whilst continuing to preserve their love of distinctive and powerful broken-beat grooves.

From their Superstition residency at Village Underground to sharing the decks with techno leviathans Jeff Mills, Tommy Four Seven, Paula Temple, Perc, I Hate Models and more, Tapefeed have been forging a path undeviatingly on the international techno scene over the last few years and have now become the new Fabric residents in 2021.

Together with an accumulation of releases on labels Mord, Metempsychosis and Abyss, Tapefeed have freshly launched their new imprint “Inveterate” to focus on the duo’s archetypal sound and vision. Their first release “Revolving door” is a furious and forward-thinking 5-track EP, which unites their ethical beliefs with the energy of protest against an elitist society. By inviting producers to break the rules and explore the fringes of their artistic extremities/limits/frontiers, Inveterate aims to scale the perimeters of techno with fresh, anarchic and unexpected elements.

To share of our excitement and evoke a longing for the dance floor, we present a premiere mix courtesy of @domenicocrisci. 

The artist from Italy has years of experience and his productions are crafty and timeless, effective dancefloor cuts that sit well next to early works of the genre´s pioneers. He is exploring new directions in his sound and recorded this in anticipation of Friday. It’s going to make for a very hot affair in RADION. 

The rhythms are inciting and irresistible, with a sexy pace that flows directly into your hips and is sure to keep them moving throughout.

Liane 

Recently relocated to Amsterdam, Liane already had a debut set at De School. She was born in Jerusalem where she explored her sound and quickly positioned as a resident in the underground club Pergamon, playing among the best of the best.
Shortly after, she was a regular of Tel Aviv’s techno scene and started building momentum all over Europe. For the past year, she is hosting and curating a monthly show at RRFM called Roaming Edges, played her debut set in Tbilisi, and performed in clubs and raves around Amsterdam and Tel Aviv.

Her mixes are constructed by layers of deep, dark, and industrial techno characterized by crushed kicks that create a distorted fog of noisy textures with an experimental edge. She aims to develop an immersive and dynamic experience that delves into an emotional depth, while constantly keeping a rolling flow that shatters and reforms. Metapattern follows up his contribution to the Charged Particles Volume 2 compilation with his debut EP on Southern Lights, Undulations. The release features searing, bass-heavy cuts such as the title track Undulations and Confluence, whilst Assembly takes you back to the early hours of long-abandoned warehouse parties before closing with the ambient techno and drone textures of Quantum Behaviour.
