Bio: Fooliks Karriere begann auf der anderen Seite des DJ Pults. Auf dem Dancefloor. Als Raver. Sowieso ist er viel mehr als nur DJ. Eher der 360°-Techno-Prototyp. Ladenleitung, Artistcare, Stage-Management, Bühnenbau, Foolik hat schon so ziemlich alles gemacht. Doch was sich durchzieht, ist das Auflegen. Erst sieben Jahre Resident im Sisyphos, seit 2019 schießlich im Kater Blau, wo er mit seiner eigenen Reihe Fool and the Gang regelmäßig sein eigenes Programm gestaltet. Wie sich das anhört? Lucy is the nom de techno of Italian-born and Berlin-based Luca Mortellaro, one of the genre’s most exciting and ambitious DJ/producers. Since 2009, Mortellaro has focused his work through his own Stroboscopic Artefacts label, building an imprint and personal discography that has established itself as one of techno’s finest.
Lucy (née Luca Mortellaro) is one of the pre-eminent sonic adventurers of his time. Not bound to conventional pre-conceptions of what an electronic musician, producer, or DJ must be, Lucy has evolved his distinct sound signature by reconciling the deeply personal with the esoteric, and by harmonizing the spheres of technology and biology. In doing so, he has become rare as an artist, in his ability to please an audience while also introducing them to elements they were not yet familiar with and thereby pushing them out of their comfort zone. Whether he is acting in the role of producer, DJ, performer, or Stroboscopic Artefacts’ curator, Lucy’s clear passion for creative evolution and mutation is something that continues to attract new listeners, and keeps giving his current supporters new reasons to continue tuning in.

Staying true to his London roots, Niteplan is the amalgamation of the UK’s grassroots sounds – from jungle and grime to house and garage. Deeply rooted in London’s underground culture, his music channels the raw energy of the scenes that shaped him. What began with jungle, breakbeats and grime instrumentals has evolved into a distinctive sound that fuses these influences – whether that be house, garage, breaks or beyond.

Never confined to a single genre, Niteplan’s sets and productions blur boundaries, weaving together influences from across the spectrum of UK dance music. This open-minded approach is mirrored through his alias Pirate Material – a project dedicated to his multi-genre roots, spanning jungle, 140, grime, UK techno and beyond. His body of work, from house and garage to jungle and ambient, reflects a deep respect for the foundations of rave culture and a desire to reimagine them in new forms.

Under his Pirate Material alias, he has played for some of the UK’s most respected underground institutions, including DJ Mantra and Double O’s Rupture LDN and Loxy’s Cylon Recordings – both cornerstones of the jungle and bass movement. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping his identity as an artist grounded in sound system culture and genre-defying energy.

As Niteplan, his journey has taken him across the globe – from Space Ibiza, OFF Sonar, and Eden Ibiza to Forbidden Forest, ABODE Malta, and WAT Festival in Toulouse. With multiple Beatport #1s, including releases on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax and his own label Nitecutz, Niteplan continues to push a forward-thinking sound under both aliases that celebrates the full spectrum of UK dance music – where the unexpected is always part of the experience.

The Berlin-based Mona Moore is already since the year 2000 passionate lover of electronic music, so it had to come sooner or, as in your case, a little later that she also ventures behind the mixer. Her debut was in "her living room", as she calls the Kater Club in Berlin. Also outside of Berlin Mona Moore is on the road to present her kind of deep groovy and melodic techno to the audience. 

Meanwhile she is also one of the resident DJ´s of Kater, curator of her own mix series for Proton (Out of Space and Time) and organizer of the event series "Enorm in Form" . During Pandemic she started producing music and the first release was released in June 2021 together with Stan Starry. This was followed by releases on the labels "Rebellion der Träumer" and "Reconsider Music“

Her philosophy when DJing: "Sharing the love for music and forgetting space and time for a few hours through it".

Die in Berlin lebende Mona Moore ist schon seit dem Jahr 2000 passionierte Liebhaberin der Elektronischen Musik, so musste es früher oder wie in Ihrem Fall etwas später dazu kommen das sie sich auch mal hinter den Mixer wagt. Ihr Debut hatte in “ihrem Wohnzimmer”, wie Sie den Kater nennt. Auch außerhalb von Berlin ist Mona Moore unterwegs um Ihre Art des deepen groovigen und melodisch Techno dem Publikum zu präsentieren. 

Mittlerweile gehört sie auch zu den Residents des Kater, ist Kuratorin ihrer eigenen Mix Serie für Proton (Out of Space and Time) und Veranstalterin der Event-Reihe "Enorm in Form" . In der Pandemie-Zeit hat sie begonnen Musik zu produzieren und das erste Release wurde im Juni 2021 zusammen mit Stan Starry veröffentlicht. Es folgten Veröffentlichungen u.a. auf "Rebellion der Träumer" und Reconsider Music
