BeetRoots Music is the dynamic DJ project of Misha Tsaran, a Ukrainian-born artist whose passion for music began at age seven with guitar lessons. Influenced by Queen, The Beatles, and Russian rock, Misha’s tastes evolved to include hip-hop, reggae, and later EDM, which sparked his DJ journey.

In 2011, Misha moved to NYC, managing the live music venue Meridian23, where he was immersed in global sounds and began DJing house music events. After relocating to Northern California in 2017, Misha became a yoga teacher, continuing to explore the sounds of mantras and Indian music. To connect with the local community, he started organizing dance events. Playing at local bars, private celebrations, and weddings, BeetRoots focused on crafting his open-genre DJing style, gaining widespread popularity and a large following. Soon after, he launched his mobile DJ business, "BeetRoots Events."

In 2024, Misha began hosting a monthly radio show on KZYX, earning the Programmer of the Year Award while continuing to share his vibrant energy across Northern California. Versatile in playing any genre for any event, BeetRoots brings his love of house music to clubs and festivals. In his mixes, you often hear Afro/Latin/Tech-House sprinkled with heavy synths from Indie Dance, as well as Funk, Disco, and Organic vibes. BeetRoots has performed at Northern Nights Music Festival, JetLag (NY), and numerous venues in Northern California. With boundless energy and eclectic beats, BeetRoots continues to inspire joy and connection through music.

Jonno (Disajonno) is a pop singer in Northern California. He has been making music since 2010. He formerly released various singles and three mixtapes under his birth name, John Rupert. He has also collaborated with DJs by writing lyrics and singing as a vocalist on some of their tracks. Disajonno's first mixtape is "THEATR&B," which is somewhat a continuation of two of the mixtapes released as John Rupert: "Shenanigans with Older Men" and "Disajonno." 
Now, focused on adding in self-produced instrumentals to his repertoire, he is working on multiple projects. He is working on a mixtape of self-produced music as well as sipping on martinis and slurping oysters his boyfriend shucked.
