Hello, thanks for checking out a small sample of the style of music i have been creating since my other band, the longest fall disbanded abruptly in 2012. 

We had a recording contract, but being naive, and trying to navigate the contractual stuff by myself, it all fell apart. Claims on future, albeit impossible odds of "making it" can bring out the worst in people. Not wanting to allow what i had "fathered" turn into cash for others, i pulled the plug. Do i regret it?  In some ways..but not on principle. I had to stick with values as much as i could. 
That failure drove me to spend many many hours playing guitar..and what grew of it, has even the biggest critic (me) impressed. Arrogance isn't a word people would use to describe me...this isnt an attempt to "exagerrate or embellish my credentials."  I worked my butt off with much sacrifice of my family..so i can say.."this music has alot of potential."

Whether or not u agree, i would have to say using technology to record good sounding tracks is beyond my pay grade. These are one take/live recordings..errors and all.  

For myself, and I am guessing many other musicians, I play the music I do to "overcome" or "up-lift" or "reach"...if the music isn't genuine, then I don't feel it can achieve the most basic and fundamental purpose.  

One of the main reasons I DO NOT want to play with another guitarist, is that I must feel that the music has my stamp or better, input or "message" otherwise, it would be akin to lip syncing for me..

These recordings..THE SATURDAY ones..give u am idea..building blocks of a "sound movement" i wish to embark. Sure, it is ideal. Sure, it is unrealistic. But i already have a full time gig teaching high school science .  Like Bad Brains, I set my own sights to THE HEAVENS, and my goal is to play music that is uplifting without the overkill, the over-doing it, trying to formulate something outside of my comfort zone.  It would be fake..itw would be obviously fake.

I admit, once not long ago, I fell deep into my own pride, arrogance.  Writing things, people, ideas, sounds, whatever, before I even let it enter any deeper than my eyesight, or outer ear, etc.  Sure, we all have sound prejudice.  We search for sounds, songs, artists, we know.  I won't take any offense if you disagree with me about the potential, but if you disagree due to your own pride, then your shell is thick and may it one day be worn or thinned or removed altogether (i can't say I am even close to that one..nor do I know if I would want to be). 

It certainly doesnt take much imagination to hear that the music, admittedly a crappy recording, has potential.

So to fulfill this potential, I am hoping to find a bassist, drummer, and a keyboardist/mc/mixer (The Pink Floyd keyboardist...someone who is familiar or comfortable utilizing other technology).

I can't do this alone.  I am seeking the aid of others to help fire the rockets and get this thing up in the air.
