My relationship with Dave goes back to 2020. I had asked Chuggin Edits to do a special lovers mix for Valentine’s. In that mix was an early version of Dave’s edit of Barabara Streisand’s “Promises”. I was completely blown away. At that point DiCE_NZ was completely new to me, and I quickly learned that Dave’s work carries a love and an attention to detail, that I have found great inspiration in through the work on our Highrollers series, that by now has reached #7 and world wide acclaim for exactly that. 

Here’s Dave’s take on a crucial classic, a track people approach with either recklessness or great caution and respect. To me this is the definitive rework of “Keep Forgetting.”

I'm been singing for a while now, but primarily in musical theatre. I've more or less retired from that lifestyle and am teaching myself to play keyboard & sing in various pop styles. I don't consider myself professional, but I do love music of all types and really enjoy singing and playing. 

Global music lover. No genres that I stick with exclusively, I listen to what I like without exception. 

Prime areas of interest as follows but I don’t limit myself like I sometimes did in my youth. It's whatever hooks my ear these days, it’s all good. 

Lounge, chilled electronic. soulful house & garage, deep house, Jazzy House but overall and in any genre, I'm always seeking creative mix's with good track selections captured (a crucial aspect to this guy) 

Other likes are Hip-Hop & Jazz Fusions, 70's rare groove, D&B, reggae, dub & lovers and many others per my musical & life open-mindedness.
 
I'm really into any DJ's or Artist that can take me on a musical journey, hold the vibe throughout the mix/their work, that's what my favorite DJ's, Artists as well as life-memorable nights have all been made of so, these ears are always eager for more of the same.
