Following releases on Influenza Media and Rotation Deep, relative newcomer Lapse comes through with the stunningly-produced 'Left Behind' for Soundhall Records' inaugural release. Contorting an elegant and heart-wrenching piano piece from garage producer Sorrow, the deep sub-bass slides beautifully underneath a symphony of punching percussion and subdued synths. Backed by remixes from drum and bass master Hyroglifics and trip-hop prodigy Salute - along with further reworks from Imagery, Whiney and Trinkkets - this is an incredible exemplar of the deeper side of dubstep that shows an enormous amount of promise from the young producer.
