But life doing what it does best (getting in the way of doing cool stuff) has prevented Silicone Soul from what they do best (make music). Until now…

‘Fahrenheit 625’ raises the heat on Darkroom Dubs seminal Traxx series. Tailored for low-lights and lower-ceilings, it’s their darkest sonic laboratory and the perfect home for this comeback thumper. Stripped-back, heads-down grit noir with a juicy, thumping bassline, a vocal from one of the greatest house conjurors of all time and some devilishly trippy elements, ‘Fahrenheit 625’ is heavy and gets straight to the point. An unabashed statement of comeback intent from Craig and Graeme… It leaves us wanting more.

Remix-wise Mexican techno maestro Theus Mago links up with continental cousin ld!r for a subversive excursion, where a whole new top-line spirals in and out of focus with raffishly funky results. Finally, Argentina’s Shall Ocin dusts off some majestic organ chords, whips up a snake-like synth-line straight out of 1999 but bites like it’s 2029. It sounds like the future, but the speed we’re all hurtling at we’ll be there before we know it. March, come on, we’ll take you there…

'After two successful contributions to our SPIRALS compilations with his unique and edgy sound, fast rising artist Onur Özman delivers his first full artist EP to coincide with the first vinyl release on the label, with two original tracks that are a testament to his well honed production skills, blurring the lines between house & techno and filled with subtle nuances and emotive melodics. These are accompanied by two stellar remixes, firstly from Jozef K who follows releases on Last Night On Earth and W&O Street Tracks with a dreamy acid tinged rework. This is followed by a deep melodic dancefloor cut from label boss Just Her. The package is rounded out with digital bonus tracks from Onur Ozman and Just Her, and stunning artwork from LA based designer Martín Shiah.
And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.'

Stockholm’s NEAT are back in the Exploited house with a generous four-track EP of electronic delights, once again demonstrating their sophisticated, atmospheric styles.
EP title track ‘It Is U’ echoes the deepest of classic progressive house with its plaintive feel, building through bobbing arpeggios and crystalline chimes while a chugging Italo disco-esque groove pushes it forward. Big sweeps and minor chords punctuate in the background while the percussion keeps evolving.
‘Nouvell De Romantica’ features spacey vocals from Miss Trance Late and is a gently tripped-out workout that revolves around rubbery bass delays, ticking hi-hats and distorted acid bubbles. Far-off pads filter subtly beneath huge swathes of reverb, panning across the stereo field as the Latinx vocal samples gently massage your mind. Let’s call it ‘lazy acid’.
Speaking of which, ‘Acid Arouse’ picks up the next with skippy beats and a stomping bass groove whose acidic characteristics are gradually intensified. Sprightly synth delays and sweeps fill out the surrounding space, while breathy vocals from Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Antilla add another dreamy touch. Rippling, dreamy synth plucks top this tasty acid cake off.
‘WAAAAW!’ makes for a brooding finale, with a more techno-led focus. Discordant arpeggios meld with glassy pulses and weird vocal effects to create a psychedelic soundscape whose parts are deftly brought in and out of focus in continuous fashion to give this track a living, breathing pulse.

Greg Gow has been steadily building a formidable reputation as one of Canada’s greatest musical exports in recent years. 
From his base in Toronto, Gow skillfully intertwines the unmistakable sound of Detroit with the flavours of his hometown, creating heady, intoxicating results. 
Here with Base Jumping on Poker Flat Recordings, Gow provides a strong reminder of why he’s held in such high regard. 
Base Jumping (Free Fall Mix) is a slick deep cut, drawing on elements of dub and minimal techno for its inspiration. 
Lost Chords is a more upfront reckoning, firmly planting its flag in the ravey, tech house camp. A thick analog bassline makes it way through the track, adding a groovy swing to proceedings. 
Finally Minister of Music rounds things off - a bumping house track with a sick sub bass and thick, Detroitesque chords and strings that add to the delicious tension.
