Welcome one and all to a brand-new Cuttin’ It Fine compilation. Funk Butter Volume 1. Funk Butter is audio cream product churned from Funk & Disco components, combined with occasional Hip Hop elements. The side effects from ingesting Funk Butter is an overwhelming impulse to do the Disco Finger, Bus Stop and dare we say…. Get Down. All of which are highly recommended following a controlled dosage of this miracle margarine.

Kicking off proceedings is our old pal Frankee More. He’s beautifully re-created the original De-Barge banger, paying attention to the drums, ensuring there’s enough room for the DJ’s to blend while giving us some bonus instrumental action. 

Stepping to the plate next is young Mr Fitz. Always eager to smash a remix he’s chopped up the queen Sharon Jones “This land is your land”. Once more, re-worked the drums for the dancefloor crew and added Staten island’s finest as an outro for the Hip Hop heads.

It’s been a minute but Pecoe’s back on Cuttin’ It Fine with this beautifully crafted disco slammer. With Elements of The Sisters Love and Roy Ayres, expect horns, bongo’s, sunshine and happy faces from his sterling contribution: “Sunshine Love.” 

Late to the party as always Uncle Roast stops by and donates one of his famous party starters. His Disco interpretation of Chic Good Times with a side serving of Tag Team, is the perfect pudding to round of Volume 1 of Funk Butter. Don’t get too sleepy, volume 2 is on the bubble.
