Avec "Dogs Out", l’histoire se réinvente. Ce qui semblait se briser devient
matière à renaître, à explorer l’amour sous d’autres formes, plus
instinctives, plus viscérales, plus profondes, plus absolues. L’amour, un
instant fragilisé, se mue en une pulsion de vie indomptable. Ce morceau
incarne le retour à soi, à l’animalité enfouie sous la tendresse, au désir de
redécouvrir le monde sous un autre prisme. Et puis, dans l’ombre de cette
euphorie, une voix féminine s’élève, comme un murmure venu du passé.
Cette réminiscence est une invitation à la réflexion, un appel à la mémoire
Mais le sujet, tel un chien libéré de sa laisse, ne comprend pas le langage
des regrets et s’apprête à croquer la vie sans retenue.

Dogs Out

"Hypnose" prolonge cet état second, une errance hypnotique où la ghetto
funk fait l’écho d’une passion naissante. Ici, l’asymétrie des percussions
insuffle un déséquilibre délicieux au sein duquel l’émoi prend racine. Le
sujet tombe amoureux, dans un silence de percussions aux 2/3 de la
mesure. Il est finalement rattrapé par le dernier kick, comme un tiers qui
rattrape notre sujet de cette bascule lancinante et le ramène à la réalité au
3/3 de la mesure.
