.defaultbox is back with the well done EP „Rise“ by label head Patrick himself under his new alias 10.000 BC. The EP is breaking boundaries and forming connections between ambient and timeless dub techno grooves. The EP opens with „7am“ which is an interplay of nature sounds, warm pads and breakbeats. „2pm“ is a colorful and warm journey into deep space. The EP closes with „3am“ which shows the tension between the organic warmth and uplifting energy of a dance floor track, followed by a heavy and thundery remix by the very talented Portuguese DJ and producer Robert Hoff.

Italy based as a music producer, DJ, Beatmaker.. iBOT is the alias of Ivo (I.M.) and is part of a new generation of artists whose work relies on the contemporary approach to Hypnotic, minimal Modular and Raw Techno Sounds.

Combining the sound of the genre with a mystical methodology, iBOT has released in defining labels like TMM, Affekt Recordings, Soma, Rebels Records, Concepto Hipnotico, [R]3volution, CorpusBlack, Coded Platform, Dolma, FreshCut Techno Label, Kabelkiste, Primitive State, ITU, Eclectic Limited, Subsist Records, Diffuse Reality and more. His label mind is behind Research From Space records[est021’] and runs his own Studio productions in Italy.

Having spent his formative years experiencing the Electronic Music scene from many angles, first steps in Italy (his Hometown Turin), iBOT has played in many clubs, raves and afterparties of Turin and North Italy, traveling Europe through Ibiza, Berlin, London rave scene as clubber, DJ, producer and collaborator, his name is iBOT (Ivano Marsalisi).

Class of 85’, his music receives the support of Techno and House industries’ icons. He has now evolved into a unique producer of his own right, and already has several high quality Techno Electronic tracks lined up on some of the best labels worldwide.
