Tatiana is an East-London based DJ, audio producer, and music journalist.

Having lived in Moscow and Paris, Tatiana’s sound has a global influence, moving smoothly between nu-disco, jazz-tinged house, French disco-pop, and soulful dance, all underpinned by funky basslines to keep you moving on the dancefloor. She has played the likes of El Dorado Festival, E1 and Grow Hackney, rapidly making a name for herself on the East London disco scene.

With a background in radio working as an in- house producer for Hoxton Radio, as well as hosting her own show, Tatiana has gone on to become one of the station’s resident DJs. As a journalist, she’s interviewed big names like Folamour, Max Cooper, and Habibi Funk.

Theon Bower comes through with an hour of italo and disco leaning productions, many influenced by the global disco vibe he’s known for with his label-come-party, Pangaea Disco. While Theon is now playing harder and faster in a club setting, his roots are still firmly planted in the sounds he’s grown to love. After his massive set at El Dorado and Westival in July, Theon has a string of gigs lined up in the capital as well as releases upcoming on his own Swung Out Imprint and The Disco Express amongst others.

Following recent sombre developments that our beloved Stanley Street Block Parties are no longer—cheers for that, local council!—we thought it appropriate to pay homage to the fantastic times enjoyed by all, by making available our recorded mix from last month.

(We failed to realise it at the time, but it may be the very last Block Party gracing the sacred bitumen known at Stanley Street... at least, for the foreseeable future.)

The Fazz @andrewfazzolari and I were handed a prime slot for the balmy October afternoon to do our Attic @atticsydney thing.

Within the hour-long offering, you can expect our usual blend of fun, fruity, typically disco-skewed house music, with a few fruits from yesteryear thrown in.

Today's mix comes from Fonkituur, a seasoned DJ with over a decade of experience. While his musical journey initially traversed various genres, it was only two years ago that he discovered his true passion for Disco, House, and Italo.

After making the move to Berlin, Fonkituur fully immersed himself in the city's vibrant Disco scene, where he found inspiration to craft his signature sound. As the founder of party concepts like 'Biscotti Disco Affair' and 'Funked', he's been instrumental in shaping Berlin's nightlife landscape.

In this guest mix, Fonkituur takes you on a journey through his musical evolution, blending old-school Disco classics with modern Nu-Disco, Funk, and Italo beats. It’s a recording of a segment from the opening set of the first edition of 'Biscotti Disco Affair'. It serves as the perfect warm-up set to kickstart the night.
