Our mentors, funk-pioneers, The Bar-Kays, reached out and kindly asked us to appear on this original song, which appeared on The Bar-Kays "House Party" album https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/house-party/id305838858, released in 2007.  They remixed it 5 years later,  and the 5 min version first appeared on The Bar-Kays EP "Gown Folks".
