This week my music responds to the protests. I disagree with using the language of war to stop war. I believe hate begets more hate and the way the protestors hate the cops and those who don't see eye to eye with them means that their efforts, valiant though they may be, are only stoking more hatred and more violence. This is why protests never amount to any meaningful change. The music is meant to help you dance, not spread more anger and more hatred in the streets. Dance and spread love, that is the only way out of all this. Your consciousness must change before the world around you can change.
