Disco Milk was founded in 2006 by Paulo Guglielmino aka Super Paolo, one half of the duo Tutto Matto. Meanwhile on remix duties, LA-based B.Bravo has released on the prestigious Brownswood Recordings and Bastard Jazz.
‘Funk City’ kicks off the pack with a pitched-down, gratifying drum loop, with an assortment of live instruments bouncing gracefully off the beat collectively creating a luscious atmosphere. The remix brought by B. Bravo offers funk-infused blends layered with charming grooves and a zesty vocal throughout .

afro-cosmic grooves with a modern twist and that’s been solely down to the work of Italy’s Super Paolo – one

from scratch whilst utilising a handful of live instruments and this is especially prevalent within his ‘5th Day’
single. Ponty Mython jumps on remix duties after releases on Tusk Wax, Beats Delivery, Arma and many
more, in addition to David Agrella aka Agrellomatica – a DJ/producer based in London who’s music has been
championed by the likes of Cassius, Anja Schneider, Hot Since 82, Steve Lawler and Marco Carola.
‘5th Day’ delivers soulful keys, a wonky bass groove and scattered percussion before Russia’s Ponty
Mython’s delicate remix offers funk-infused sound design through winding chord work and chuggy synth
progression. David Agrella’s Re-Work then finishes things off with gracious jazz drums floating around
melodic obscurities and crunchy bass synths.

This is an eclectic collection of works that describe Super Paolo current influences in 2021 and it can be generally described such as "a varieties for genres and style for one producer".
Here you can find some techno, cosmic, disco, trip-hop and ambient influences and plenty of experimentation on drum machines, synths and musicians recorded live.  

Disco Milk records is proud to present a double album that clearly shows influences from a variety of labels such as Opilec, Ninja Tune, Permanent Vacation, BBE with the usual classic ones such as: MPS Records, Sounds of Philadelphia, SAM, Arista and many others.

All the tracks have been produced in London at the Disco Milk Recordings Studios where most of the parts have been recorded live and edited as less as possible. Therefore there is no much space given to midi nor to digital programming of beats and rhythms. All material is produced using original sessions and no samples have been used in these productions.

SUPER PAOLO ONE PROMO MIX

Another funky disco tune from Disco Milk Records, this is a crossover between 80's fusion and disco and it has been made with the contribution of the finest London musicians.

This time Disco Milk keep the winter going (even i the midst of the miserable weather we're having) with the warm breezy vibes of the original version. This track is an ode to the instrumental disco fusion classics and has been  inspired by the magnificent work of Shakatak. 

On the Daniele Baldelli & MArco Dionigi Remix the song takes the ive of the original and amps the beat up for the dance floor to create a swaggering electro-disco tour the force.

Finally, to cap it all off, the Funkdiba remix takes the bones of the original and it reinterprets it in its inimitable style, he gives the track a dance electro psychedelic edge.

When I was within the tutto Matto Band I have recorded a DJ set live somewhere in east London where people enjoyed the lavish silky pumpy and happy disco-vibe.

It has been an incredible musical adventure, I danced all night while mixing the various songs and enjoying tremendously the intensity of the disco grooves. 

The recording is not incredibly HI-FI but its fun listening to the choice of the tracks and the way I mixed them at that time.
Have fun, pump this up in your room, in the club, whenever you are and dance, dance dance and....dance!!!!!!!

PERFORMED LIVE on 9 March 2024 in a very cool place in London where I regularly DJ. As a music producer and as a dj I have always been quite eclectic in my music selection. Common thread for all the music in my selections is the almighty 'Groove'. As Dee Lite titled one of their tracks "Groove is in the Hart" and for sure it is well kept and alive in my heart. Coming from a tradition of Italian Cosmic DJ's like Daniele Baldelli, l'Ebreo, Gino Grasso, I have also found thrilling to play and mix groovy tunes and keep the groove high for hours. This is an invitation to tap your fingers on the bar desk or to follow tempo with your foot and its the prelude to dance. And yes "Groove is in the Heart".

Since the beginning of his career, Paolo concentrated on creating tracks from scratch and driven by the fresh approach and sizzling energy from their new productions, Tutto Matto quickly came to the attention of Tim 'Love' Lee's Tummy Touch label, where a shared appreciation of party classics, fun and hedonism led to a prosperous working relationship. Four excellent 12" releases and Tutto Matto's globally acclaimed debut album ‘Funkulo’ followed. Two years of pressure, pleasure and intensive production later, album two 'Hot Spot' did its best to burn up the floors and airwaves.

Today, the idea behind the brand new Disco Milk Records is to keep going with classic old school recording practices, utilising live musicians in the studio to get the best out from the sound of classic vintage synthesisers and new studio recording technology. The recording of one track often requires several stages of production and a significant monetary investment.

Disco Milk have conducted sessions in various studios in order to achieve the best recordings of performances from bassists, pianists, horns, strings sections, percussionists, drummers etc.. The label is currently producing singles and albums with remixes by a variety of established and upcoming artist DJ/Producers from the House and New Disco scene like Luca Trevisi (Ltj experience), B Bravo, Ponty Mython, David Agrella, The JM Brothers and more.
