Vocalist and mult- instrumentalist family theBroomfield's might be new to you but Deepfunk heads know the deal. The six Broomfield siblings (vocalist, Diane and her 5 brothers) released some of the best Rare groove 12s and 45s in the 1980s (Although this 45 was recorded in 1979) as well as recording with Betty Wright, KC and the Sunshine Band, Timmy Thomas, Little Beaver, Julio Iglesias, Michael Sterling and many, many more.

Championed by Keb Darge and others on the Deepfunk scene in the early 2000s, this record has remained agonisingly elusive, despite being very popular as both sides are brilliant. So, with the help of Symphonical records we got in touch with Aaron and made this happen, look out for Aaron's 45 dropping soon as well.

I tag-teamed up again with my brother from another mother @shortybouncesquad for another edition of our "RnB Lounge" mix series. As usual his selection contains tracks which have been released after the year 2000 and I took care of everything before. By the way, please don´t mind the little cracks here and there during my mix -  I was working with, let´s say,  85-90% real vinyl and a few of this records are in "club use" since more than 25 years already.

Biggie was and still is my favourite MC ever and I did this “Best of BIG” mixtape a few years ago already –  to be exact in march 2005.

To be honest – I just did it for myself but after a couple of my close friends asked for a copy… I lost the original master disc and never had a backup of the mix on my hard drive. A few days ago a good friend passed me this link to download a cd-rip of my own mix. Man, I was happy… so my friends at @PeopleLikeUs used this one as a podcast as well.

Well, you won´t find to much cuts & tricks on this one, but a lot of his timeless classics, plus a few dope and rare songs, unreleased interviews and live recordings of the G.O.A.T
