K_Chico released his debut album "When I Was Young" in 2006 on the Teichmann- Brothers' "Festplatten" label. The release quickly found its way into the playlists of Electro luminaries such as GusGus, Ellen Alien, Chloe, Wighnomy Brothers, Munk etc. This in turn set off a chain of releases on Forcetracks, Rundlauf and the Bar25 label. As his touring schedule started to thicken and his career properly took off, K_Chico just walked away from it all.
Now - 5 years later - he is back with "Burn" - the first track from his new album, which will be released later on this year. The song comes with a visually intense music video produced and directed by the man himself. The production is based on the morphing effect and required hundreds of unique stills. The famous Champagne producers "Bollinger," who normally only sponsor James Bond movies, liked the test shots so much that they donated entire cases of their product to the crew. K_Chico is back!

It pretty much started all in late 1997 in a small town called Schwäbisch Hall, where i hosted a weekly 2-Hour Radio Show at the local station called "StHörfunk".
The next step was a Job for the then biggest independet music distributor in Germany called EFA. I worked for their dance department as a product manager from 2000-2002.
After this i had the honor to work as the Editor of the Deutsche Club Charts (DCC) and DJ-Promotoer at Public Propaganda, Hamburg from 2002-2003.
from 2003-2004 i used to work for a small club in Hamburg called "Tanzhalle St.Pauli" as a booker.
In Early 2005 i was offered a job at interactbooking in Berlin and moved there, booking concerts and tours for the likes of Louie Austen, Jake The Rapper, Friedrich Liechtenstein, Client and many others.
from 2007-2011 i then studied musicology and media studies at Humboldt Universität Berlin, and wrote album critics for a german magazine called Raveline alongside.
Music still rules my world today.
