Recorded under a starry sky on Friday the 13th @ Kiezburn 2021.  I was walking past the Mellow Submarine camp when someone called out "Does anyone know a DJ?"  A few minutes later I had my mixer set up and we were ready for liftoff.  Thank you so much to all the lovely creatures who joined me on this journey, and to Mellow Submarine for welcoming me in so spontaneously.

Jaxen Blaze - A Soul with Shadow

Moyn Moyn, what a little pearl of a festival you are!

I arrived at the festival Saturday evening and had gotten very little sleep before, as I went straight from a club event in Copenhagen to the long bus tour. Yet, catching up with old friends and breathing in the vibe of the place gave an incredible energy boost, and playing there was really a big pleasure and a lot of fun.

So... here it is! The recording of my set from Saturday night into Sunday (3-5 am) at the secret and absolutely stunning Siedbruck floor, built by the wonderful and big-hearthed crew behind Silk Sessions (a huge THANK YOU to y'all for making my Moyn Moyn a great experience, again <3 ).

This set was recorded at the small yet very delightful "Tankstell" in St. Gallen. After a small post production intro for the set we thought it would be very fitting to release it with the times at hand. Club culture all around the world is suffering and DJ's and producers likewise. Equally we've rarely seen such an abundance of music being shared online like ever before. Let us cherish the sheer diversity of music being shared out there and we hope you enjoy this deep dive into this entrancing four hour set.

I only had on open air sunrise gig this summer in Stockholm. It was at a beautiful birthday party for @saragat
I love dancing with my friends in nature when the sun rises and I'm always extra grateful when I have the opportunity to play music for this moment.
