Form is Vision is a collection of music unified by the same vision but not by the same form. It’s the vision making the form, without being influenced by the form itself. Here, electronic visionary artists as Afrikan Sciences (@afrikan-sciences)and Juju & Jordash (@jujujordash)meet cross over jazz bands like Hobby Horse (@hobbyhorsejazz)and Where is Mr. R?!.
The music is compiled by Autre (@autre) & Two Thou (@2000), bringing their own productions to bridge different moods. The result is a synergistic leap away from the music of genre.

Afrikan Sciences
 
New York based Afrikan Sciences (Eric Douglas Porter) is one of the most expansive and intensive musical torch bearers of modern experimental composition and jazz. Triumphing over the limitations of electronic composition he constantly explores new expressions in modern rhythmic music.
 
Juju & Jordash
 
Juju & Jordash found one another through weekly be-bop jams back in the mid 90s, with Juju on guitar and Jordash on piano. Throughout the 1990s, each played in and composed for various jazz and experimental combos by day and, by the cover of night, danced.. Now the approach the crowd with fully improvised hardware live shows that became a key performance in the electronic music panorama. 
 
 
Hobby Horse
 
Ten years into their strange musical voyage, collective trio Hobby Horse (USA/IT) shows no sign of breaking stride.  Their chaotic approach to mixing musical languages always ends up seeming to make perfect sense in hindsight, despite being littered with outrageous stylistic pairings, executed with reckless abandon.

Where is Mr R ?! is avantgarde trio from Paris lead by Luca Ventimiglia. Where is Mr R ?! is a hotbed of ideas, a space for experimenting with a common language, a language based on the superposition of sound objects conceived in real time.

Left At The Lights is collection of tunes begun between 2010-2015 that for whatever reasons never got 'finished' or saw the light of day until now. While working on my new (!) album, I delved deep into the pool for some sleeping gems and found at least two volumes of niceness. These tunes capture a time period perfectly so I decided they should live together forever in sweet harmony. Enjoy!

No stranger to the label, Munir (AKA Midnight Runners) is one of Southeast Asia’s most unique talents. A deep record collector, he has put his hometown of Bandung, Indonesia on the map with a relentless output of self-released edits drawing on Indonesian funk, Chinese pop, and Middle Eastern psych as source material over the last several years. Equally skilled as a producer, Munir’s signature boogie-funk sounds have graced labels such as Neon Finger, Shaken Palms, and No Bad Days. We’re pleased to unleash Munir’s sounds on Darker Than Wax once again, with a strong sonic step forward from the artist and perhaps his most polished work yet - ‘Circuit Line’.

Blending his signature Boogie sound with Italo-Disco influences, the record brings forth four stylishly crafted modern dancefloor cuts. ‘Circuit Line’ is built on a foundation of reverence to the arpeggiator, driven by neon synth tones racing each other to the finish line. This racing theme defines the record throughout, painting images of classic 80s racing games on standout tracks ‘Finish Line’ and ‘Race Car’. ‘Interlinked’ takes on a more subdued approach, building in intensity and weirdness with each synth line layered on. Showcasing Munir’s prowess with percussion, ‘Pit Stop’ is a feverish club workout rounding out the record as a complete package for the discerning DJ’s arsenal.

Crafted in his Bandung studio with love for classic hardware and respect for its musical influences, ‘Circuit Line’ represents a turning point for Munir’s sonic evolution.
