Āemygdala, the London-based duo, are the masterminds behind ‘Perplexed’, a two-track EP showcasing their signature groovy sound, characterized by infectious rhythms and hypnotic basslines. 'Perplexed' takes the listener on a captivating journey through heavy warped baselines and catchy melodies designed to ignite dance floors.

The EP also features two unique remixes of ‘Perplexed’. Portuguese artist Jepe injects the track with a jolt of energy, transforming it into a high-octane dancefloor weapon with higher BPMs and driving drums. Secret Factory's 'spooky' reinterpretation delves into deeper sonic territories, creating a hypnotic and immersive experience with its driving bassline and unexpected breaks.

Melodies linger like ghosts, speaking the language of the lost, Berlin’s newborn baby Ghosting Corporation hails from unhealthy breakups and unanswered text messages, with tunes made for places where loud sound systems and lonely spirits meet. The night is there to evade those negative feelings of emptiness and exchange them for a brief moment of body movement.

GC first reference, titled “Enter the Wild” is stuffed with elements brought together to create a mix of percussion, groove and excitement, an after midnight fiesta combining Anastasia Zems’s massive vocal talent with what label’s creator, Mike Sacchetti had envisioned probably influenced by a tribal dance he saw in a movie and a long bike ride home. Both stepped out a bit from their living room couch to deliver something fresh to the sound of Indie Dance. 

And as if it wasn’t confusing enough to your expectations, two special guests came to spend the evening at the remix department: the France-based Moroccan rooted artist Zaatar widens the sound spectrum while spitting out cosmic dust with a slow builder re-interpretation piece of “The World’s a Dream”, ultimately to hand it over to Berlin’s established producer Radial Gaze to properly fuel the rocket with an acid energised version just tailored for the peak time enthusiasts.

We're delighted to welcome back Amount, aka Nayan Soukie, to Darkroom Dubs as he returns with four subterranean throbbers that effervesce with trance-inducing lawlessness.

A Darkroom Dubs favourite who first debuted in 2013 as one-half of house-combo Soukie & Windish. Since then, he's flourished as a renowned producer, DJ, and seasoned live performer, developing a penchant for sleazy burners primed for the darkest of rooms and those hazy, sunrise-lit, after-hours moments.

This latest offering from the Berlin native, entitled Zeroton, is an essential addition to an already impressive back catalogue, with appearances on imprints such as Feines Tier, Running Back, Frank Music and his own URSL label.
