Melómana Records' latest release, reference number 42, is distinguished by the collaboration of two renowned artists from the label, Sotockhol Syndrome and Tronik Youth.

This release includes two original tracks that blend genres like electro, EBM, dark disco, and new wave among others, characterized by the intensive use of strident synthesizers and a robust and forceful rhythmic base, elements that guarantee their effectiveness on the dance floors.

The original tracks are complemented by three innovative remixes: Gameboyz, Mexican producer TH3OS, and French artist Cate Hortl add new dimensions to the EP's sound. SLF IMG is the new Italian synth punk sex wave duo from Umberto Cavalloni and Giacomo Stefani. Co-produced and mixed by Luca Venezia (Curses), their debut EP evokes a romantic 80’s Balearic energy fueled by a dark and driving force of early EBM and proto-funk electro acid.

The obvious influence of early pioneers like, DAF and Nitzer Ebb shines through in a new, more stripped back twisted-pop, tongue-in cheek irony and graceful approach. These are songs for the late night adventures frolicking in the hours past midnight in the strobe lights and misty haze of smoke machines. Something nostalgic yet new with the sound on their debut EP. Catchy hooks but sinister basslines and synths.
