Nativo, Relish, Richmerch, Ninefont Music, Playground, Sprechen, Rotten City Files, Tici Taci, Beachcoma, KNM, Melomana (their very own outlet)… the list of labels where the former trio and currently duo Gameboyz (SXDNS061) have their work published is extensive. Charlie (Carlos Franco) & Kali (Luis Vallespín), when in studio, let the juice flow and fail to disappoint when it comes to seaming together their most personal influences. The result is a powerful acid-meets-stamina-meets-groove devoted-to-the-dance-floor concoction.

Their freshest endeavour lands now on NEIN: The “Chicken & Drugs” EP comes fried and crispy with three outstanding originals and two well-constructed remixes made with love by Ian Vale and Shkema. Premiered here, the latter’s version.

While the original tells its story in 110 BPM, the interpretation of the rising “weird producer and weird DJ” from Lithuania shows its credentials in 116. For his account, Shkema brought the theme to his realm by ripping off the arpeggios and the fat and adding a more frolic and, yes, “weird” gait, somebody would say. We liked it!

This summer Moderna Y Theus Mago return with their fourth collaboration release ‘Give Chance A Trance’, the four-track EP will be released on Duro Label. The duo have an established history of their
own sound that touches on various genres and this ep is no different, featuring cuts of techno, acid, and dark disco that bring you electrifying sounds, elusive rhythms, and dystopian vibes.
Starting off strong with ‘La Tranca’ an energetic and galloping track with articulate vocals and psychedelic synthesizers that create an atmosphere of trap and invites you to choose your destiny for
the night. Next up is ‘Preset Body’ a chaotic track with an acidic bassline and a booming drum that immerses you in a whirlwind of rotating and twisted synthesizers, with vocals that feel like strobes in the night.
The third track, ‘Give Chance A Trance’ is a rave cut that gives the EP its name. With an incisive drum and reverberating synthesizers, this track has a very clear message: “Tomorrow is the question, Music is the answer”. The path to liberation and freedom.
Finally, the EP closes with ‘The Motion Of Emotions’ a playful and sexy track that lures you in on a journey into the night keeping you glued to the dance floor with “pulsing lights and flashing beats”, it's the perfect time for our worries to fade, “to be free, let go and thrive”.

Iptamenos Discos is back with another collaborative EP by label heads Local Suicide, who have once again teamed up with Skelesys to provide their stunning ‘In Space We Roam’ EP.

The four-track EP includes two original tracks and two remixes by Psycho Weazel and Neu-Romancer. It will be available on limited 12” vinyl, all streaming & download platforms and is set to release on August 4th, 2023.

This scorching new offering follows the trio’s highly acclaimed sensation ‘Moustache’, which amassed an impressive quarter-million streams on Spotify alone and garnered support from renowned artists like Erol Alkan, Joyce Muniz and Curses among others. Far from slowing down, the trio also released EPs together on Snap, Crackle & Pop, Samo Records and on compilations by Eskimo Recordings, Ombra INTL, Logical Records and Sum Over Histories.

DJ/Producer duo & couple, and Iptamenos Discos label founders Brax Moody and Vamparela, make up Local Suicide. They are known for coining the term ‘Technodisco’, which describes their influential and distinctive sound that combines elements of New Wave, EBM, Disco, and Techno. Joining them once again in this project is their long-time friend and collaborator, Skelesys, a Berlin-based Argentinian producer, DJ, and live act. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of influences, including hard rock, sci-fi and horror, his works straddle the line between post-punk, wave and future influences, resulting in a trademark genre-blending and unmistakable sound.

The well-received 7-track "We Are Nothing But Space Dust" EP by Brazilian producer Celestino has now gained splendid remixes by a true dream team of virtuosos: Birds, Orchid, Sylphomatic, Högt I Tak, Jason Peters, Marching Machines, and Tronik Youth, NEIN's big boss himself, brought their chosen ones to their own turf and delivered outstanding interpretations for another incursion into the Indie Dance/Dark Disco realm.

Amount (aka Nayan Soukie) returns to Silicone Soul's Darkroom Dubs with a vibrant new EP, just in time to join the celebrations of the label's landmark 20th anniversary.

After making his name in the burgeoning minimal, techno and house scenes in his hometown of Bremen and rolling out revered collaborations with close friend and production partner Fritz Windish (as Soukie & Windish)and URSL label co-founders Sebo & Madmotormiquel, the Berlin-based producer has turned his attention to his live solo project. His latest offering, 'Psycho Disco', flirts with his minimal, downtempo and disco influences before dragging the listener into a time-distorting vortex in an impressive showcase of technical skill.

Closing the EP is the gritty, acid-tinged title track, ‘Psycho Disco' - an after-hours groover with a beat that bounces around your brain, slowing into tense cascading tones before shifting abruptly on its axis to take an entirely different direction and purpose.

Minimalist in approach yet complex and multilayered, this latest dispatch is a powerful reminder of the raw power of live electronics. Let yourself go and prepare for an exhilarating ride. Amount will also feature on the Darkroom Dubs vicennial compilation out on the 28th of September.

Ademarr returns to Roam Recordings with Mexican compatriot Joseeph for the Jango Mango EP. The original Jango Mango is an eerie and trippy offering that moves deftly through the dark. Up first on remixes is Darlyn Vlys who delivers a peak time jam with his signature style that he's been showing on labels such as Correspondant, Dust & Blood, and his own imprint Polaris. Iñigo Vontier 's rendition of Jango Mango pushes deeper into psychedelic after party territory. The EP rounds out with the original Olin which moves quirky synths through a low slung atmosphere.

Sinchi Music's latest not for profit release welcomes Italian artist A-Tweed for two new tunes that come with remixes by Sara Dzir, TAPAN, Roy Mills and Vardae.

A-Tweed mixes up weird acid, dark electronics, EBM, electro, tribal, disco and techno across a wide range of tempos. He's landed on labels like Tresor, Hard Fist and Duro and has a show on Radio Alhara as well as being involved in side projects like Obanko Maranta with Andrey Redkov and A-Tweed X Olerefuturo with Valerio Ebert.

Opening cut 'Photosphere' is a dark and menacing one with snaking beats and ice-cold percussion. Synths bring drama and rugged texture as the acid lines arrive and the moody industrial disco grooves unfold. 'Low Field Trance' is another slow and strangely seductive disco-techno sound. Meandering synths make for an eerie late night vibe as glistening glassy melodies hang in the air next to prickly 303s.

Belgian-Tunisian artist and Not Your Techno founder Sara Dziri remixes 'Photosphere' into a jacked up and acid laced cut with trippy vocal fragments and an infectious groove.

Serbian underground stalwart TAPAN then flips the same cut into a filthy chugger with prickly percussion and warped synths luring you into a late night world of musical menace.

London's Local Knowledge Records label head Roy Mills brings broken beat energy and a twisted cosmic edge to his version of 'Low Field Trance'.

Last of all Vardae's Deconstruction Dub reworks 'Low Field Trance' into an empty and cavernous rhythm full of spooky synth motifs and echoing hits.

This is an superb package of left of centre dance floor cuts and comes with striking artwork from Superbarabba.
