Exclusive: Kito Jempere - Every Minute Is Too Late ft. Noteless (Fango Remix)

Hailing from St. Petersburg Kito Jempere has shared a carefully selected amount of his own music with his followers via his self-titled label, amongst the most recent releases was his ironically named LP Yet Another Kito Jempere Album. Taken from the latter and actually also the closing track of the November-released LP, Every Minute Is Too Late feat. Noteless underwent the Degustibus mainstay remix treatment from Fango. The Italian artist turned the track into a proper peak-timer waiting to be played out. Starting with harmonically intertwining chords making the track come in like a slowly flowing river passing the valleys in the mountains, Fango's remix becomes a wild major river that issues into a waterfall shortly after Noteless' vocals 'Mystery these days is gone' are absorbed by the water and are transformed to create a completely different tone and vibe. 

Every Minute Is Too Late feat. Noteless (Fango Remix) will be released on Kito Jempere Records on May 7th, 2021.

After two stellar Split EPs with Das Komplex, Brazilian sound wizard ROTCIV  (@rotciv) delivers his first Solo EP on Luv Shack Records (@luvshackrecords). With 4 intricate original cuts and a Massimiliano Pagliara remix, the Elev8tion EP is a bold testament to modern EBM.

The titular track sets the stage with a firework of dramatic synths, brash elektro beats and a fluttering acid line, finding a perfect balance between dancefloor appeal and leftfield quirkiness.

Italian maestro Massimiliano Pagliara remixes "Elev8tion" in a straightforward fashion, opting for a percussion heavy drummachine pattern, a driving bassline and additional synth melodies, yet incorporating the original 303 to great effect.

On "Unbelievable", ROTCIV lays out a complex carpet of alternating arpeggios, heavily automated synth melodies and an array of weird vocal snippets, atop a minimalistic electronic drum track.

"Muquifo", which literally translates to flophouse or dump (or shack?), is a slow burning breakbeat track with eerie strings and tripped out acid melodics, making it a hot contender for future afterhours.

"The Morning After" is a similarly low slung track, with a broken beat and a distinct industrial flair, yet the synth melodies strike a more hopeful chord and have an almost cinematic feel to them.

A further testament to his productivity, @djedenburns delivers not one but two versions of @kitojempere ‘Sergio Leone’. On the second of his two remixes, Eden ups the tempo, reshaping the original into a taut club detonation.

Exclusive: Paula Tape & Volantis - Octava Dimension (Tornado Wallace Remix)

After a hiatus of three months Italian boutique-label Alzaya is back with yet another impressing release. Co-label head Volantis teams up with Chilean artist Paula Tape to deliver the three tracker Octava Dimension, which consists out of the original version of the artists' studio session , namely Octava Dimension, and remixes from Elias Mazian and Australian in-demand producer Tornado Wallace. Currently living in Berlin Lewis Day, Tornado Wallace's real name, is known, famous and loved for his experimental space rides through House Music, which has seen him release singles, EPs and (mini) LPs on labels such as Running Back, Optimo Music, ESP Institute, Mule Musiq or Beats in Space Records, just to name a few, over the past decade of his career. Far away from mainstream influences Tornado Wallace has developed a sound that seems to hit the zeitgeist and nerve of producers and artists from various genres. His discernment for implementing sounds and elements at the right time and spot in a track's sequence to keep it, the track, either going or intensify the momentum of it has brought him the reputation of creating excellence. The latter can be ascribed to his recent work, the remix for Octava Dimension, equally. Tornado Wallace deconstructs and reconstructs the original version adding a spacious note, a housey drum-pattern keeping the original dreaminess alive and manages to implement Paula Tapes' vocals subtle enough so that they fit pads and delicately integrated sounds in the same way and open a whole new experience or dimension for the listener.

EXCLUSIVE: Paula Tape & Volantis - Octava Dimension (Tornado Wallace Remix) [Alzaya]

Brazil-born, Berlin-based Rotciv follows up his ‘Tea Time’ EP on this label with a new standout release. The suitably evocative artwork for this release is once again by Daniel Rajcsanyi. Rotciv explores everything from electro to acid house, disco to trance. He is well known to heady crowds at places like Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson and the Cocktail D’Amore parties, and also runs the Mister Mistery label. Besides appearances on Rinse FM, Radio 80000 and Permanent Vacation’s radio show, he has recently landed on Polari Records, Luv Shack, and Full Pupp. Opener 'Resemblance' is a deep and elastic electro groove with twitchy acid flashes. The late-night tension builds through pixelated pads that grow ever more twisted, with cosmic chords layering in subtle trance vibes. The fantastic 'Guarani' is a multi-faceted club track with another elastic bassline and more acid details. This time the chords are more haunting, and dark disco synths bring real menace and mischief. The artfully crafted 'Lucid Dream' is a gurgling fusion of deep techno, wave and synth music. It is filled with hopeful chords and jumbled kicks that lock you into a perfectly loose and percolating rhythm. Last of all comes 'Final Frontier,' a taught club track tinged with electro synth designs and tobacco-stained grooves. It's muscular but emotive with wandering pads that take you on a trip to the stars. This is another well-formed EP from Rotciv that is packed with originality.
