“Things that happen all over the world cause a heavy impact on people’s lives, and Russia is no exception. The human rights situation in Russia is becoming more acute each year. We believe that the violation of human rights is unacceptable. With Hand to Hand VA we want to draw public attention to this problem and provide assistance to organizations involved in helping people faced with arbitrariness. We have brought together like-minded musicians who share the ideas of cooperation, freedom and unity.
All proceeds from the VA will be split equally between the Russian human rights organizations: Mediazona (an independent media platform focused on the judiciary, law enforcement and penal system in Russia founded by Pussy Riot members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova) and OVD-Info (an independent human rights media project aimed at combating political persecution)".


The Hand to Hand VA geography is: Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Romania, France, Ukraine, Israel, Lithuania, Greece, the Netherlands and the USA.

Producer Plastico has been experimenting and playing for a long time, with a unique sound. Szymek Lawik (Ondata, Feel the Drive) heads out on his own with two original tracks and a trunk full of remixes.
“World Without End” fuses Italo and Belgian new beat sensibilities with mournful melodic motifs. As the emotional swell builds, an ethereal vocal gently intones, “I want peace, I want to feel calm, I want to feel safe.” It’s a tonic for the times. “HeXreme Pursuit”, by contrast, goes hard from the off and never looks back. A whip-crack kick and sawtooth synths do the heavy lifting with relentless momentum and hooks for days.

The line-up of “WWE” remixes reads like a wishlist of producers’ producers. Kid Machine (Red Laser Records) brings everything into sharp focus, harnessing beat and bass as only he can, while Facets (Samo Records) strips back to cast clever shadows that take the original into darker waters. As Barcelona’s Adrian Marth picks up that baton, delivering a mind-melting, punishing interpretation, Ali Renault (Vivod) provides some wane to the wax with a slow disco groove for the early hours. This paves the way for Birds (Katie Wilkinson) to enter stage right with goth attitude, new-wave bass and a rallying klaxon call. And for those who like to lean into the slow lane, Dane Close (Power Station/Cuts) and Martin Lefteri (Feel the Drive) have got you covered with remixes that will carry you away…
