Teniente Castillo returns to Roam Recordings with Two to Tango - an artfully crafted dark offering backed by a strong set of remixers that carry the integrity of the original into uniquely different areas. The original version from Play Pal Music label boss combines guitars and electronic sounds in a way that both sounds like a live band and an abstract excerpt from a conscious machine. Legendary New York artist Justin Strauss takes on the first remix adding a vocal that sounds like it was always meant to be underpinned by an exquisite liquid bassline. Thomass Jackson is up next with a beautifully quirky rendition that feels like an after party for which you want to be invited. Kaputt club resident Nuclear Digital Transistor rounds out the EP with a percussive version that brings out the guitars from the original in a new light and we gotta say if uniquely fitting basslines are your thing Nuclear Digital Transistor seals the deal on this four track EP.

Summer 2021 sees the fourth in the Frigio Allstars series hitting all respectable shelves.

Jack Carel opens the 12” with the acid burning grunge of “Fuck This Shit” followed by Sons of Traders with the chugging 4/4 nastiness of “A for All.” A trippy, dark industrial streak runs in the snares and swagger of Rambal Cochet’s “Doomsday Scenario Interface” and in the powerful introspection of Daniel Holt’s “The Recluse.” Neud Photo arrives on Frigio with a menacing debut, “The Split” which pierces a haze of smoke in this late-night floor-filler. Honored Matres who appeared on the first volume of these series, returns with the blackest of the compilation. Machine gun percussion close the 12” with Chris Mitchell offering the chopped and gnawed “Alsina.

Human Endeavour Records, the newest member of the Ransom Note Records label family, returns with ‘Confession Time’, its second release and first solo artist EP from Anastasia Zems.

Hot on the heels of the inaugural release, a Various Artists EP featuring six producers from across the world, they welcome the DJ, vocalist and producer for a four-track EP of heads down, mid-tempo sludge that sees her thread the needle between acid, EBM, new beat and cold wave.

With opener ‘Underwear’ Anastasia plots a course into murky depths. The most club-ready cut on the release, it’s driven by a pulsating acid line and rumbling bass that soon give way to hypnotic synth patterns and Anastasia’s sultry, commanding spoken word.

On the inspiration behind the EP, Anastasia explains: “Behind each of the tracks there is a story about something personal. It so happens that my vocals usually appear in tracks during improvisation and most often do not change. This is my way of expressing feelings. It turns out that this is the time for confession.”

As a DJ and producer Anastasia Zems chases a counterpart to her urban upbringing, drawing inspiration from the tribal sounds of imagined rainforests. Her psychedelic, rhythmic productions, which she laces with her signature mysterious vocals have earned her singles, remixes and EPs on labels like Needs, Les Yeux Orange, ИДА, Fucanglong Files and Whypeopledance.

Human Endeavour is the newest addition to Ransom Note Records’ family of sub-labels. Curated and run by Ransom Note Editor, and one half of DJ duo Kiara Scuro, Rosie Ama Cain, the label will be a “space for artists who are exploring the dark, deep and hypnotic corners of the musical spectrum.

Introducing a fantastic new release from Rigopolar and Disto Disco - Spaced Out EP. This 5 track collaboration includes two brand new original tracks, as well as three remixes from stellar artists: Phunkadelica, Cabizbajo & Colossio, and Childs. The EP will release on Rigopolar's own label, Tour De Infinite.
Rigopolar a.k.a Manuel Castaneda is a Miami based DJ and producer originally from Mexico. He has released previously on Duro, Nazca and most recently on his very own Tour De Infinite. Through a mixture of italo disco and techno, Rigopolar has crafted his expansive sonic universe. His music is inquisitive, and challenges the listener to dive deep and ask big questions along with him. Where do we come from? Where are we going?
In Spaced Out EP he joins forces with DJ duo Disto Disco. These Mexican party starters know disco inside and out. Their club night Discoteca Seducción has taken them across Mexico and beyond, where they showcase the finest selections of disco, dark disco, italo and indie dance.
The EP begins with Untitiled, a masterful study on the fundamentals of disco. This 8 minute epic track stretches time - stripped back with a focus on perfecting the core elements of irresistible grooves. Expertly crafted instrumentation which give the track a live, organic feel. A groove that grows on you as it repeats, each element digging a little deeper and hooking you a little more until you’re on the ride with them.

The EP is an impressive exploration through indie dance and disco variations, and is certainly not to be missed! Spaced Out EP will release 26th of February, 2024 via Tour De Infinite on all digital and streaming platforms.

The "Muy Duro" series returns this summer with the twelfth edition of the compilation. This time, the artists involved are Yotam Russo, Rina feat. Julyjuli, Theus Mago collaborating with Dominik Marz, Alvaro Cabana, and Ali X.

The compilation splendidly begins with “Lift Him Up” by Israeli artist Yotam Russo, who brilliantly combines a rhythmic section that invites you to feel the summer energy along with pianos, acid melodies, and gospel vocals. Following is the collaboration between Rina and Julyjuli, a psychedelic and immersive track with a captivating and deep bass, accompanied by electrifying synthesizers that plunge you into a trance while the voice resonates like a lost mantra.

“Bring The Feedback,” produced by Theus Mago in collaboration with Dominik Marz, is a house-oriented track that hooks you from the very first moment with its acid and elastic sounds and rhythmic elements. Spanish artist Álvaro Cabana returns to “Muy Duro” compilation with “Integración,” a track that progressively takes you through surrealistic rhythms, creating a hypnotic and lysergic sound.

Closing the compilation is “Choola” by Ali X, a track with deep and resonant basses that mixes different melodic, percussive, and vocal elements, creating a mind-blowing and accelerated atmosphere.

“Muy Duro Vol. 12” will be available on all digital platforms starting July 26, 2024.

Compilations are a format dinosaurs are usually highly keen on. They allow us to take a peek at the work of different artists brought together to present their respective and unique concoction of influences, creating a multi-layered and colourful selection of sonorities which result in a true journey through their particular creative processes.

That’s exactly what can be expected from the fourth volume of Espacio Cielo’s acclaimed “The Sky Sampler” series. On board, none other than K-Effect (SXDNS062), Parissior (SXDNS206) & Barko, Azaria, and Silicodisco, some of the most prestigious and lauded artists amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene.

For his contribution to the soirée, master Azaria came up with something not so similar to his previous publications on Logical, Melomana, and Golden Soul Records: “Bent As Fuck” is a trippy 107-BPM deliciousness with malicious percussive elements and elaborated distorted layers. Vocal hooks and a menacing bearing complete the pizzaz of the beautiful theme.

Andrey Sirotkin makes a remarkable debut on THISBE Recordings with the single “Untouchable”, a synth-infused slow techno track with an electric 80s feel, that should awaken every listener’s imagination from start to finish. The Kyiv-based producer, known for his fine analogically produced leftfield techno tracks released - among others - on Rune Records and Mystictrax and his own label Vyrii records, comes up once again with an original production which strikes the right emotional balance between melancholy and euphoria.



Initially produced as an instrumental tune, such an atmospheric track was begging for an extra melodic vocal ­input, and this is where Pyrame comes into play. Indeed, “Untouchable” features the Berlin-based lyricist and vocalist who conveys a warning message about humankind being reduced to a simple product in modern society, a lame unit in a world driven by statistics where everything is measured and quantified. The writing is on the wall: with “Untouchable”, Pyrame raises awareness about losing every aspect of our freedom, privacy and unbiased opinion. Scary, with the hope of getting sometime, somehow, out of it. We must.



In order to add some other perspectives to “Untouchable” when it comes to genres, the EP is completed by a deep techno remix by Joseph S Joyce, A Caribbean rework by A-Tweed & Oltrefuturo - which also got declined into a dub version - as well as an electro mix by Acid Washed.

Greendoxyn - Closed Gamer

333 is a work conceptualized and produced by Pvlomo. The plot of this
musical piece is based on an eccentric musical session that we had
(Pvlomo, Ximena, and TH3OS) in my house (Pvlomo). At that precise
moment we were experiencing the end and the beginning of an era.
The psyche of all that energy was captured, and the quality of the
project was meticulously worked on, seeking to preserve the raw and
sentimental essence but with the highest sound quality. The remixes
were engineered on our most recent trip to Europe, transmitting the
feeling of being all together, on this occasion sharing the energy with
Samuel Lupian, who is the author of one of the remixes on the EP.
The final product is a new banner of what Mexxita represents, a new
proposal of the “Controlla” sound, but this time oriented towards Rave
and Techno. Personally for the artists, it represents a moment of family
love, but in a more hidden way, it conveys personal feelings and the
chaotic vibes that are a consequence of knowing each other for so long
and the lifestyle we were leading at that time.

40 Thieves are back on Roam Recordings, teaming up with vocalist Alona to release their latest cosmic disco gem, "Shake You Off". Fans of the trio (Layne Fox, Corey Black, and Jay Williams) might recognise them from the dance-floor classic "Don't Turn it Off (I Think I Like It)", their eclectic album "The Sky is Yours", or their previous Roam hit "Take Me I'm Yours".

This new single delivers a dance-floor ready track featuring Alona's vocals layered over lush electronic melodies.

The release also features two standout remixes from Roam Recordings alumni Shubostar and label boss Jason Peters. Shubostar kicks things off, maintaining the warm, inviting vibe while introducing a dash of Italo disco flair. Label founder Jason Peters takes a different approach, stripping down the original to create a deep, pulsating, heavy version. Rounding out the release are an instrumental and radio friendly edit of the original track.
This project has strong San Francisco roots, and we couldn't be more excited to collaborate with our Bay Area family on this release. But beyond our personal ties, we truly believe this record is something special.
