Hosting this week's Sunday Service was our favourite trainer connoisseur, Faz aka Steve Farrell. Faz is a well respected DJ being part of Midnight Riot, as well as individually  gigging in the Greater Manchester area. Not contained to this, he's stretching out again across the north sea to ADE for Amsterdam's biggest dance event. Faz' mixes & gigs are usually epic in duration filled full of classic house & Disco to current bangers. We're delighted to have him host for us.

In the second half of the show was our very special guest, France's DJ My Love. DJMyLove is a recognized, appreciated professional DJ who has been getting Funky House, Nu disco, Disco House enthusiasts to move and to dance for over 15 years. DJML became a Nu Disco enthusiast and rolls out his sets in prestigious venues in France.
DJML cultivates his passion for sound and draws his infectious energy from happy" sounds, which are a source of well-being, reminiscent of the vibe of Studio 54.

We are a collective of passionate DJs, Producers and devoted Disco Fans from across the globe, who came together during lockdown through our shared love of all things Disco, House, Funk, Soul and more.

In addition to the vast array of tracks, labels, events, DJ sets, radio shows, and blogs produced by our gifted family members, we also run our own special weekly show. For nearly 3 years, the Disco Waltons Sunday Service has been going out every Sunday 9-11pm (UK time) on NDC Radio. Each week a member of our fam hosts the show and invites an incredible guest to join them. We now have over 100 shows under our belt, with mixes from wonderful guests including heavyweights such as Greg Wilson, Michael Gray, Moplen, Derrick McKenzie, plus many emerging DJs and producers.

Disco Twister is NuDiscoFunkyHouse - a unique blend of cool nu disco grooves, 80's inspired sound, soulful vocals and funky house beats. This mixture creates a lively and energetic whirlwind that sweeps across the dance floor 😉

My absolute inspiration is Purple Disco Machine. He motivated me to start DJ-ing after a long break again and inspired me with his sound. Also Dr. Packer, DJ Master Said, Shaka Loves You, Da Lukas, Greg Wilson, Fingerman, Brothers In Arts, Romain Villeroy and the podcasts of Pete Ellison are absolutely my favorites. However, these are just a few names and i am enthusiastic about everyone who goes musically in the same direction...

My mission is to give happy and musical moments to as many people as possible with my DJ sets. Otherwise i also want to help to make the music style "NuDisco / FunkyHouse" even more popular.

Iry Sabir is a Yorkshire based DJ who has been around the scene for over 20 years. He started to play in 2002 until 2008 & then put things on hold to raise his family. It wasn't until 2019 where he started to pick things back up & he's slowly built up his reputation with a number of mixes ranging from Soulful House, Nu Disco, Groove, Funk, Lounge & New Retro Wave. He's done a number of Guest Mixes such as Black Light Disco, Magic Track, Discotheque, HAWT, Feel Good Fridays & Disco Waltons. He's now one of the hosts for the Disco Waltons & also his Monthly show Bearded Lounge Sunday Sessions on NDC has been going strong.

After finding the rave scene in 1990, Lee bought his first set of decks a year or two later. Initially influenced by the music in the North West and clubs like Legends (Warrington), The Quad, Cream, The Hacienda he started his music collection and would play at parties, the odd bar gig and create mixtapes for friends.

Fast forward to the turn of the decade (and century!), now living in London, Lee was part of an underground party collective called Most Excellent, putting on parties at various South London venues such as Brockwell Park Lido and The Telegraph (Brixton), playing classic, funky and soulful house music playing alongside a few notable guests like Trevor Fung and Stuart Patterson. 

After a break of about 10 years to get married and start a family, he started listening to the likes of Fingerman, LNTG, The Reflex and was hooked on the underground edits and disco scene. The decks were dusted off and he started to buy music again…

Lee is now proud to be part of the #DiscoWaltons family, a DJ, Producer and music fan collective who frequent the chatrooms of some of the best music shows and livestreams available to humankind!

Hailing from East London, Paul Williams and Wayne Anderson - AKA Jagged Soul – are a unique duo, specialising in a fresh soulful sound.
