It was an absolute joy to share to share the decks, and a few beers, while covering some serious musical ground across the 2 hours .... we spun a completely off the cuff mix of stuff that we'd like to hear in a dark, sweaty, club... quirky electro disco, uplifting house, afrobeat, soulful house, nu-disco, 90s progressive classics and more! Criss-crossing the boundaries of house, disco, nu disco, global grooves and beyond… selections include newer, up-front cuts, forgotten gems and rarities, b-sides, and the odd well-placed classic.

Each month it’ll be a new 2 hour mix with minimal level of chat...just quality, underground music!

Peak time vibes, lots of driving basslines, funky, jazzy, synth and acid-laced melodies, organic percussion, rock solid vocals... all the ingredients to maybe transport you to a smoke filled, dark, sweaty club, dancing with friends, big smile on your face :)

HI Li here and tonight is a special one for me as I get the opportunity to host another very special guest.
This is my second mix for the show I've been co-producing for over the last year. I don't claim to be a DJ but this new hobby has given me the opportunity to show my musical taste on a few different shows now thanks to the support of my dear friends Mark Christopher  Greg Middleton  Wilson Frisk  & other members of a group of DJ, radio hosts & producers collectively known as the Disco Waltons. 
This group came together during lockdown & 3 years down the line have became good friends, supporting each others shows & gigs nationally & internationally. I truly value their support ♥️
Tonight I have the absolute honour to have iMFROMULL  aka Lee Gorbutt join me. IMFROMULL is a Northern DJ who is a conniseur of disco & firm favourite in the North East & Scotland. My co-host Greg was back in the driving seat for his monthly outing on the show, and he used the first hour of the show to showcase some of his favourite new jams around at the moment, plus one or two older goodies he found while digging around his digital crates.

In hour two, he welcomed his special guests and good friends James Caldecott and John Orton aka Late Night Disco. Their mix was recorded live at the highly regarded The Disco Express night at 25 Paul St, London - loads of feel-good jams, original disco and rare groove, a few reworks and an amusing amount of early Wham (which I'm told is due to John recently watching the Wham doc on Netflix)! :)

Co-host @wahine_dj returns for her monthly mix with special guest, Sydney-born, Amsterdam-based @shadylady_bec who she was introduced to online via a mutual friend who likes to sprinkle fairy dust and support female DJs in times of need (i.e. the covid lockdown period). Since lockdown restrictions have been lifted, Wahine has watched her talented friend spread her wings, playing ever-increasing clubs, stages, and festivals, while staying true to what moves her musically.

It's Episode 175 and co-host Greg Middleton was in the cockpit for this one, kicking off show with tracks from Fingerman & Chewy Rubs, AC Soul Symphony and Dave Lee, Lup Ino, Sunner Soul, FF Edits, Giman and Chic-Ago with Moodena, to name but a few.
