Fingerman & Chewy Rubs Dog Disco Afternoon August 2025 Part 1

The Black Light Disco burns into the atmosphere that makes up the My House Radio airwaves, hitting you  like a cold, super-power jet wash to the armpit. 

It’s the third Monday of the month which means it’s the return of those psychedelic wormhole travellers Esteban and Cole Kutz! The boys have been busy clearing out the pool house here in our summer retreat of BLD Bungalows, ready to fill it in autumn with unused BLD branded sun beds and parasols. It’s a dirty job but someone’s got to do it…

First up is Esteban, who has a clutch of damn fine tunes from the likes of Mita Game Garden City Movement, Save the Robots  & Winkar Lopez, Kristof Tigran, Re-Tide and Adelphi Music Factory to name but a few. 

For hour 2, Cole Kutz takes the controls for a magic carpet ride of twists and turns, featuring musical delights from Sunner Soul, BOBBY ANALOG, Peanut Butter Orchestra, Random Soul, Hotmood, Cerrone  plus many more.

That’s Pajo Do to his mates A wee Derry whippet with a bag full of bangers and a cheeky grin big enough to light up the Bogside. outstanding in his field he is Known for his top-shelf hosting duties with the award winning Spin City radio show (always cracking guests and pals dropping in for the flights of fancy. He’s a regular round the Derry haunts with many years he knows the score and the scene shouts to the the Derry Collective Crew keeping him on his toes he got the right ideas for a session — and tonight, he’s bringing that same calibre of sound to us: 2 hours too pluck the Hairy Banjo Strings, and drop the kind of tunes that’ll have ye shakin’ hips and Swinging Yer Pants like nobody’s business. between gig and live sets is where the real magic sparks: digs with attitude, old energy blended with new, throwbacks that’ll school ye, and promos fresh out the box. In 2025, attention spans are said have diminished to around seven seconds, or so the catastrophisers among us like to point out; Mexican label Short Attention know how to handle the fact, lightening the mood by basing their label name on it. Now Bristol-born, New York-based DJ Nature drops a four-track housekeeping round, one that drips with the grit and warmth he's honed since his early days as Milo Johnson of Wild Bunch fame. His trademark beatdown style is all here: low-slung basslines, loose drum work and a lived-in texture that feels hand-built yet briskly balanced. 'Shattering Myths' rides funk-heavy percussion and liquid melodies, 'One' folds in smoky r&b vocal loops, while 'Medusa Weed' winds through eerie synth phrases. Closer 'Eternal Winter' eases the tempo into a hushed, glowing finale.

We are a collective of passionate DJs, Producers and devoted Disco Fans from across the globe, who came together during lockdown through our shared love of all things Disco, House, Funk, Soul and more.

In addition to the vast array of tracks, labels, events, DJ sets, radio shows, and blogs produced by our gifted family members, we also run our own special weekly show. For nearly 3 years, the Disco Waltons Sunday Service has been going out every Sunday 9-11pm (UK time) on NDC Radio. Each week a member of our fam hosts the show and invites an incredible guest to join them. We now have over 100 shows under our belt, with mixes from wonderful guests including heavyweights such as Greg Wilson, Michael Gray, Moplen, Derrick McKenzie, plus many emerging DJs and producers.
