This week we’re not just funky — we’re Even Funkier. Yes indeed, it’s our very own Tom Whittaker aka Even Funkier: DJ, producer, radio host, dad, and all-round lover of the groove.
Known for his eclectic and uplifting style, Tom scours the globe to dig out the juiciest musical cuts — weaving together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, worldwide jams and other sticky delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky, and downright groovy. A cheeky edit magician, he’s been sprinkling disco dust and house tricks across dancefloors, festivals, and radio stations up and down the country.
With upwards of 60 releases on Traxsource, he’s dropped bombs on labels like Spa In Disco, Mango Sounds, Discoweey, Hive, Ripe Pear, See Saw, And Friends, BBop, The Discography Lessons, Hot Digits, Discoholics Anonymous, and Tropical Disco Records.

Even Funkier’s built a rep for transforming both classics and hidden gems into modern dancefloor charms. My recent journey down to Dublin to play alongside the wonderful Kelly-Anne Byrne at the fantastic Hens Teeth for her Stop The Lights monthly session! An amazing space with wonderful clientele and top sound system! Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the beats we played this night. Kelly begins the session here when I take over at the hour and a half mark for 2 hours before we went B2B for the last hour with some big tunes. Hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed playing! xx

After stepping back from the scene to pursue other creative ventures, and a move to atlanta is where Wahine’s love for music reignited when she discovered Atlanta’s “small but mighty” and deeply inclusive music scene and community. That spark led her back to the booth with renewed purpose — culminating in a celebrated international debut at Defected Croatia, following that she is regular guest mixes to radio shows, from all over the radio spectrum promoting new exclusive music to the masses, hostess with the mostest on an award winning show spin city and her own passionradio ibiza mthly jam on the white isles its spread far and wide then local atlanta the launch of her signature event series Wahine’s Hideaway, where tropical disco, tiki energy, and community spirit combine. It’s WEEK 22 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions – and this week we’ve only gone and landed the bezzer himself Fingerman (aka Gregg Holmes)!
Hailing from Portsmouth, via Brighton and now firmly holding court in Belfast, Gregg’s a certified disco don. He’s the daddy behind Hot Digits Music (and vinyl offshoot Wax Digits) — a label responsible for more dancefloor weapons than your local dodgy Firestick dealer. Since the early days, he’s been chopping, looping, and reworking tunes with that signature touch — and his edits have been championed by the best in the biz.
Gregg’s a hardworking, top-shelf editor, producer, label boss, radio host, and all-round top geezer. Two hours is nowhere near enough — but it’s just the right amount of time for Fingerman to take us on a proper journey. Expect chunky mid-tempo rollers, slick reworks, nu-disco stompers, and groove-heavy edits that sneak up on you — BOOM — those classic tones that give you that nostalgic tickle right up the nostrils.

Killer Boogie  sashays onto the My House Radio airwaves with Stefano Gamma aka De Gama once again treating us to another special Rooftop Selection with  ‘Altra Quota Live’.  

Yes, De Gama has followed up his Altra Quota set from last month with another pearl-in-the-shell rooftop selection - packed to the rafters with classic cuts, underground burners and slick remixes. It’s a two hour journey through all things house, disco and soul with maybe one or two personal remixes and edits from the man himself thrown in for good measure.

In addition to the vast array of tracks, labels, events, DJ sets, radio shows, and blogs produced by our gifted family members, we also run our own special weekly show. For nearly 3 years, the Disco Waltons Sunday Service has been going out every Sunday 9-11pm (UK time) on NDC Radio. Each week a member of our fam hosts the show and invites an incredible guest to join them.
