This Friday Hedonismus Business takes a trip back in time, back to the time when I myself started to love psytrance. Hirnlego has dug out an old Progressive Trance set from 2012 that directly triggers a nostalgic feeling and awakens so many party memories in me that I directly feel like an old man - the good old days...
So have fun with this beautiful, groovy time travel and really cool psychedelic sound.

Ein Set von mir zur PrimeTime: also reißt euch ne Tüte Getränkechips auf, lasert mit der Fernbedienung das Konfetti in den Dichro-Modus und lasst uns das Sofa verwüsten.

Danke für die lieben Menschlein von @tuttifrutti-tanzt für die Einladung und auch an Alle, die den Floor gemeinsam gerockt haben. Der Abend war ne runde Sache und ich habe mich auch rundum wohl bei euch gefühlt. Hatte so einige Gänsehautmomentchen wenn ihr alle grinsend mitsingt. Das DJ-Pult hat aber immer noch mehr gewackelt, als eure Popöchen :P

Danke an Alle vom FCD. Die Nacht im @about-blank-berlin war ein spitzen Group Effort und ein Gewinn <3  Wie schön so viele von euch kennenzulernen. Der Abend brachte auch ganz viele FreundInnen aus verschiedenen Etappen meines Lebens zusammen - das war magisch. Einfach Liebe, wie ihr mein Opening Set auf dem Lobby Floor mitgetanzt und gefeiert habt. 

Das Set beginnt mit Billie Eilish und bringt auch weiterhin ganz viel Fem-Power und natürlich ein sportliches Paket Indie Dance mit. Für die Endkurve durfte es dann ein bisschen mehr housy-mausig werden. Im Anschluss gab es dann Drag und Pole Dance Performance.

Paul van Dyk gave me this tape on Sunday, September 22, 1991, to apply for Berlin's biggest rave at the time, "The Brain"  (I was the promoter of that event ).

We had met the night before. We talked about techno and the musically disastrous premiere of "The Brain". Unfortunately, there was relatively little trance playing, but mostly just generic rave techno – and we discovered that we had very similar tastes in music at this time.

He had the talent and the luck that such things were still possible back then. Indeed, he got the "gig" and was allowed to play four weeks later as a complete beginner (he had previously played once for 30 minutes without an audience at Tresor because Rok was late) in front of over 2,000 people at this party. He shared the night, alternating sets, with DJ Conrad. And so that he could do it at all, I financed two turntables (Technics 1210) and his record purchases for him back then.

I needed him because there was no other DJ who could realize my vision of a different techno sound (trance) at this party. The concept of this party was completely crazy. It was the first time worldwide that the sounds and light effects of so-called "brain machines" were integrated into a dance party. All Berlin newspapers and even television reported extensively on these parties. They were a real sensation!

Back then, people didn't come to the parties because of some DJ, but because of the music and the event concepts and their execution.

After his successful debut at "The Brain" in October 1991, we continued these parties monthly until the venue was shut down in May 1992. After that, our paths diverged. He further developed trance at the (initially much smaller) Dubmission parties, while I set up the world's hardest club, "Hartware," in a Berlin bunker.
