A person who thinks all the time, has nothing to think about except thoughts.  So.. he loses touch with reality, and lives in a world of illusions.

By thoughts I mean specifically, chatter in the skull.
Perpetual and compulsive repetition of words, of reckoning and calculating.

I'm not saying that thinking is bad. Like everything else, it's useful in moderation.. a good servant, but a bad master

And all civilized peoples, have increasingly become crazy and self destructive.. because through excessive thinking, they have lost touch with reality.  Thats to say.. we confuse signs, with the real world.

This is the beginning of meditation

Most of us would have.. rather money than tangible wealth,
and a great occasion is somehow spoiled for us unless photographed,
and to read about it the next day in the newspaper is oddly more fun for us than the original event.  

This is a disaster.. for as a result of confusing the real world of nature with mere signs, we are destroying nature.  We are so tied up in our minds that we've lost our senses. 

Time to wake up. 

What is reality? Obviously.. no one can say, because it isn't words. It isn't material, that's just an idea.

Reality is..

The point cannot be explained in words

I'm not trying to put you down.  It's an expression of you as you are.
One must live.  We need to survive to go on... we must go on.

INZO - Overthinker

This is a home recording of an opening set I played for a show I hosted in Tucson featuring the wizardly @Hedflux and @sixis-3 in Spring 2018. I recorded the live set, but prefer this extended mix a bit more. I find opening sets (as in, the first one of the night) to be extremely challenging, as in many ways, you are setting the tone for the evening. Coming in from the silence to a small crowd (and perhaps empty dance floor), it is up to you to cultivate the energy in the space and turn it into something notable as you build up toward the next act. Finding the right energy level for this type of environment is one of the biggest challenges I think a DJ can face, and I'm still learning new things about this every time I play, regardless of what time I go on.

Industrial Blackout EP Showreel

This track started with a really unusual sound design experiment. I routed the FM radio from my OP-1 into my soundcard, recorded some people talking in French. I have no idea what they were saying, but after cutting some bits out and post processing the little vocal chops, I ended up with what ended up being the main bass of this tune. Rumble. Although it’s hard to tell, If you listen closely you can still hear the vocal characteristics in it, especially in the little bass right before the drop.
