That was quiet a blast, playing some records with my man Cher Monsieur in his hometown Vienna, at the lovely Heuer am Karlsplatz.  

Just a bunch of record bags, lovely food and  drinks and great people. 

And we're not so good in recording things, so this is probably the middle of the 5,5 hour set we'd played.

I was lucky enough to spend 10 days at the wonderful Mareh festival in Bahia, Brasil over New Year. It was an amazing time spent with old friends, new friends and in my opinion some of the best DJs around. 

The festival is set in Boipeba in Bahia and the parties are thrown on boats, beaches and in the jungle by the Mareh posse who really know how to make a party tick. In my opinion it is one of the best festivals you will ever come across.

This mix is inspired by those people, those times and the music I played and heard while on the Island.

We are very excited to be doing an all day session down The Olive Grove at the amazing Love International festival this year. On Thursday 28th June in the afternoon we have Ray Mang, Dicky Trisco and Joutro Mundo  playing from 12 – 7pm. 

Expect an enthusiastic and loose crowd of new arrivals and those still partying through from the Wednesday night in Barbarellas. You can jump on board any time for an exotic blend of Disco, Brazilian and all the good stuff to keep you moving through until sunset when it all flips around and begins again...

We start the year with a powerful and groovy set from Ágatha Barbosa (a.k.a. @a_cigarra, recorded in Berlin at a Voodoohop party. 

Cigarra is a DJ and magic producer who grew up in the dense underground scene of São Paulo and participated in the effervescence of its parties and festivals as well as in the original formation of Voodoohop, and is the leader / curator of the all-female compilation series “Hystereofônica" at @tropicaltwistarecords. Cigarra also recently created a label dedicated to experimental & downtempo female artists / producers, also called @hystereofonica. Her unique taste, productions and positive initiatives  makes her a true inspiration to us.
