https://soundcloud.com/aenntropie Anna, also known as Fernlicht auf der Autobahn (high beam on the highway), is a DJ based in Cologne – and yes, the name says a lot about the music. Sometimes it’s blinding, sometimes exactly what you needed – depending on where you're standing and how fast you're going. Her sets drift between disco, indie, techno, and occasionally feature unexpected cuts from voice messages – playful, surprising, and full of energy.
The name and the whole project actually started as a joke between sisters, but like many good jokes, it turned into something real.
A dance lover since forever, Anna has been behind the decks for over five years. She’s played in various clubs across Cologne and in Münster, and is a passionate supporter of the @Armadillo Kollektiv. You can also spot her regularly @Diskologne events, where her sets never fail to light up the floor.
Her musical influences are all over the place – intentionally. Depending on the mood she wants to create, the vibe can range from antidepressant to botanical to festively Christmassy. There’s something in there for everyone – just like on a weird but wonderful late-night drive with a cheeky smirk on the face.
