School is over, summer holidays are starting soon – but first, it’s time for the night of the nights, your prom! You’ve dressed up in your fanciest party outfit, put on some makeup and styled your hair extra special. Now you’re in front of the gym, just a few steps away from entering the dancefloor. Doors are opening, the decoration is over the top, there’s glitter and disco lights everywhere – but everyone’s still standing on the sidelines. You know, this is your moment and reach inside your pocket to get the mixtape that will everybody drive crazy and ready to move. The DJ puts your mixtape on full volume and the music starts playing. You find yourself on the dancefloor, getting lost in the music and not even recognizing, how the crowd around you is getting bigger and bigger. Suddenly, you’re opening your eyes and see all your classmates dancing and having the best time of their life. Alright kids, the only thing you need to do for the magic moment is to press play and start Disko Promillo Mixtape by @ls22.

Being constantly surrounded by various musical genres his parents were listening to, LS22's guest mix simply shows that the combination of different 80s soundscapes never fails. The set also includes two of his productions, showing the DNA of what his approach is all about: greasy basslines, quirky synths and never-ending melodic climaxes. Together with his brother, he formed Elektroinstallation Monopohl as a platform to present their outputs in an accommodating style, be sure to check them out, too.

Meet @Fahed-El-Huwayan, also known as Helmut, a 28-year-old beatboxer, live performer, and emerging DJ hailing from Jordan. In 2018, Fahed made the bold move to Germany and seamlessly immersed himself into the vibrant Underground Club scene, an experience that sparked an instant passion for the pulsating beats and electrifying atmosphere. Fahed's journey in the world of music is marked by his triumphant victories at the Jordanian Beatbox Championship for three consecutive years (2015, '16, '17). This accomplishment led him to the global stage, where he showcased his beatboxing prowess at the World Beatbox Championship in 2018, hosted at the Astra Kulturhaus Berlin. Transitioning into the realm of DJing in 2020, Helmut co-founded the @happalekollektiv Dresden, where he collaborates with like-minded colleagues to carve out a niche in the Underground Scene. His performances have graced various clubs, venues, and festivals across Germany and Jordan, captivating audiences with his dynamic style that spans Minimal House, Break beats, Tech-House, and a hint of Garage. Helmut invites you to embark on a maximal groovy experience as you delve into his Mixtape, a sonic journey that reflects his diverse influences and passion for pushing musical boundaries.
