The twelfth edition of the DISPLAYSOLO series finds the London-based artist, Mirror Organs sculpting two eyes-down ambient rollers suited as much for late night urban wanderings as they are a dark, sub-frequency filled club. Both tracks meld floaty synths and ice cold atmospheres with churning, cyclical low end rhythms, creating a blend that's ultimately just as much hypnotic as it is dynamic.

DISPLAY is a new sub-label of @symbols curated by @kidsmpl. The label aims to showcase long form single-track musical explorations. Guest artists are asked to create an original piece with a single constraint: a 10-15 minute run time. The results can be found in digital format as well as on limited-run split cassettes.

DISPLAY’s first split tape release of 2024 features two pieces by the artist Burning Pyre: one solo and one in collaboration with the label’s founder, Kid Smpl.

The release begins with the nearly 18 minute long solo track “Healthcare.” A meditative piece that mutates from washed out dronescapes to crystal clear synth constructions all emblematic of the artist’s pensive and imaginative style. On the B-Side we find “Peradam” a shimmering, snow-blinded collaboration that highlights both of the artists’ melodic sensibilities.
