Disruptive Minds is a German rock band formed in the Ruhr Area in 2004. 
Their music is a melting pot of alternative music, ranging from heavy guitar driven rock songs to bittersweet rock ballads. Beneath a melancholic vibe, melodic rock songs surface, blended by the distinct emotional vocals of front man Kol]a and the band’s Punk attitude. Lyrically their songs reflect on suburban life and balancing social expectations and individual desires. Disruptive Minds label their music as Punge-Rock, a reference to 90’s Punk rock and Grunge music which first inspired them to form a band.
Disruptive Minds’ debut EP „whatever“ was released in 2006 and was well received by fans and media alike. Since then the band has released one more EP (“The Line of Fate” 2011) and to full length albums (“Made of Scars” 2008, “Emetic” 2015).
