We are welcoming the onset of summer here in India with a special mix from the mountain ranges of Italy. Born and raised in Avellino, Italy, Raffaele Marchitelli's music is inspired by the sounds of the mountains. His love for nature leads him to search for continuous emotions and sensations to transmit. 

An amalgamation of the more organic, free flowing sounds of nature with the more metallic, acute and experimental sounds of the cityscapes is what makes Raffaele an artist to watch out for in the near future.

About Roman Shazse:
Roman arrived in Paris about ten years ago with a musical background he inherited from his parents. His music blends a touch of jazz/funk with modern elements and pays homage to several generations of electronic influences.

After a long period as a DJ and an event organizer, he founded his own label called Mimesis in 2019. His universe is a theatrical black & white world, which showcases rising artists and delivers deep, dance floor music that strives to be original.

Today, he offers his services as a sound engineer and works on his next releases and in his recording studio, a beautiful cavern where synthesizers and rhythm boxes co-exist in harmony.

3 QUESTIONS to KADOSH:

Q: Let's get into the mood for your mix. Why did you choose these tracks and what did they meant to you once and still mean to you today?

A: I choose these tunes because although they don't represent my sound, they do reflect in various ways my approach as an artist these days. Needless to say, this music influenced my romantic journey with electronic music.

Q: Would you still play some of those tracks in your DJ sets today?

A: The answer is yes. Most have been dropped during the years in my sets. I believe that in the right moment, each track has its place during the journeys I try to create.

Q: What projects are you currently working on and what can we expect from you soon?

A: Last year my main focus in the studio was on creating the album which was released in August, while in 2023 my goal is to put out more singles which some already found their way to labels like Multinotes, Rebirth, Exploited, Monaberry, Live at Robert Johnson, and many more. Parallel to that, I plan to keep working with some of the amazing artists on my label Frau Blau. Furthermore, you can catch me play during the next months in Europe at some of my favorite destinations. I will also return to Latin America for a few shows, as well as debut in some spots in Asia which will be announced soon. Thanks to Marc DePulse for the opportunity to be part of this important platform.
