Vera Rubin is the shadow self of an older weird woman named Katey. The shadow self is connected to the original Vera Rubin, an astrophysicist that discovered dark matter. Dark matter supports us without interacting with us and that support is deeper than any ocean imaginable. Through the exploration of shadow she has been DJing for over a decade, producing various happenings in nightlife, creating visual art and publishing anarchist philosophy. The music is concerned with building a tendency of sophisticated lipstick left field outside of macho conceptions of left field.
