Next up in our Floorless Festival takeover is resident DJ Flatcap who's speedy subterranean session is a masterclass in tension building as it excels in pace, rolling through trippy techno and electro weapons with interims of blissed out dub and bass to bring you back to Earth. 

Flatcap is a London based DJ, formally piloting Bristol’s Beeswax parties, now long-term Floorless Resident and co-founder of forthcoming label/party Elastics.

Taking place from the 4th - 6th August, Floorless Festival was a natural response to those lonely months brought on by the pandemic. The Floorless brand originally started as a series of club shows run by a group of friends who are DJs, promoters, producers and music lovers and have since hosted parties at venues such as Corsica Studios, The Glove That Fits, Venue MOT and The Carpet Shop. Over the years it has grown into an event with a real community spirit, seeing the same faces on the dance floor of every event. This extends into the festival where the music policy represents a breadth of UK clubland with a focus on local talent; last year's festival line-up included the likes of Mi-el, Allecto, Alicia, EMA, Melati, Manami, FAFF and more.

Human Pitch was founded by multimedia artist Tristan Arp (Erin Rioux) and Simisea (Brandon Sanchez). Their biweekly Lot Radio residency collages dance, experimental and ambient music with global innovators in bass, afrobeat, dub, dembow, reggaeton, psych, and beyond, featuring original productions and special guests.
