"For the mix, I was inspired by a world in which improvements in human-computer interface technologies evolve to keep pace with rapid advancements in artificial intelligence. Humans are able to upload their consciousness to private networks via pseudo-organic metamaterial brain implant devices, developed and distributed by a small group of quadrillionaires and their affiliated conglomerates. Subjectivity transfer between individual users from vessel to vessel within a network is possible (and popular!), and AI brain module installation has been productized, provided that the host legally waives a % of agency and control of their body to the auto-pilot network of their choice. Unsatisfied with planetary conditions, many are completely surrendering their vessels and opting for 100% takeover, leading to a growing population of artificially-guided human bodies."

Club Chow (he/they) is a Taiwanese-American DJ and queer rave enthusiast based in Chicago. An omnivorous selector, he blends tracks across genres and eras with an undercurrent of euphoric energy and playfulness. He expresses his range via DJ residencies at Berlin Nightclub, Steamworks Baths, Dim Sum and Drag, and his work as organizer/curator of the Forbidden Fruits day party at Easy Does It.
