"You wake up as the sun pierces through the smog-choked sky on your final day on Earth. A bittersweet mix of emotions washes over you. The once-vibrant planet has succumbed to the relentless pursuit of resources by humans and corporate greed. 

Amidst the backdrop of a world ravaged by overmining and overconsumption, you prepare to embark on a journey to a new planet, a distant utopian oasis, that holds the allure of a fresh start and a chance to leave behind the polluted remnants of your past life.

As you wake up in your home adorned with fading memories of better days, you gather your belongings, knowing this is the last time you’ll see the familiar faces of friends and family who can’t join you on this exodus. The weight of leaving heavy over you like a long shadow.

With your heart heavy, you venture out into the bleak landscape of your hometown. The train station, once a bustling hub of life, now feels deserted and desolate. It’s a solemn journey, riding the train one last time to the spaceport, where the gateway to your new world awaits.

When you arrive, a mix of emotions swirls within you. The towering spacecraft looms ahead, a symbol of humanity's last chance for redemption. 

Stepping into the shuttle, you feel the rumble of engines beneath your feet and the pull of gravity releasing its grip. The moment has come. In an instant Earth's familiar surface gives way to the boundless expanse of space, and a final farewell leaves your lips. 

While in concept this mix is very specific, to me it is easily translated into letting go of the past. While that may be painful it is also freeing that your new life lies ahead. Making space for the bittersweet feeling of moving on, making your transition into a new and better self."

The Pot features THOMAS ROMAIN with this fresh ambient set he recorded at home, by night with some candles around. From jazz to hip-hop, techno to ambient and musique concrète, his mother a renowned free-jazz pianist and his father a bassist, it's the diversity of these worlds that has given Thomas Romain a musical ear for different sounds. Electronic music seems to him to be the best way of linking these ambiences. So it was only natural that he should go there 20 years ago... In 2006, Thomas became the resident DJ of the prestigious Inox Electronic Club in Toulouse, France, for several years. This enables him to play every weekend with great artists such as Jeff Mills, and many many others, and gives him a real DJing experience. He has played three times in a row for France's biggest indoor festival: Inox Electronic Festival. Now based in Berlin after a fair amount of travelling, he has released several solo records (on High Ends and Paramour), two collaborative ones with his mother on High Ends (with a remix by Tobias) and Sonidos Del Albol (with a remix by Ricardo Villalobos), and also with Ashac under the aka ST/35 on High Ends.

“Soundscapes of Yoga” is a collection of no-mind-music, a companion on the journey towards pure presence. It is created from, by, during and for the path of unity. It is a service and gift towards seekers on the path to self-discovery, a reminder that we are never alone.

The soundscapes are made from Ishtadi’s collection of healing instruments and nature recordings, meant to echo - our nature within.

According to Guru Vashishta, teacher of Lord Rama, there are 7 states to Union:

Since he was 14 Ishtadi embraced the yoga practice and later extensively travelled India, living with monks, nuns, siddhas, saddhus, yogis, musicians and a variety of therapists and healers. His mission is to transform these ancient experiences of knowledge into contemporary immersive culture.

Ishtadi interweaves sounds of nature to musical landscapes, combining field-recordings with electronic synthesis, organic rhythms and harmonies. Awakening the genetically imprinted being inside, inviting the body and mind to slow down, in order to dive deep - into the now.

Ishtadi is the founder of VibroAcoustics, Nature Tales, Ecstatic Dance Copenhagen, Nordic Ecstatic Dance Association, Cacao CPH and a variety of concert and party concepts.

In sanskrit, “Ishtadi” means purification of the senses - the prerequisite of being absorbed in presence.
