The year is 2023.
A complex global surveillance system created by the powerful ORGANIZATION, is monitoring every single individual in the western world.
For each citizen, it creates an information file made up of video surveillance images, recorded phone conversations, private pictures, genealogical tree, sexual history, religion, political views...
This surveillance system is named THE EYE.

"FOTOAPPARAT was born somewhere in Europe, around the 21st century. The project is thought as a multimedia experiment with roots both from the past and the future : it is the fruit of the love of strange music, social science fiction and last but not least, underground electronic subcultures.

Another beautiful moment looped between the past, present and future at The Block Tel Aviv reminding me once again that the foundation of our scene, the club dance floor, should not be forgotten.  The night was a perfect synchronous moment between the audience and I, immersed together in warm frequencies emanating from a sound system impeccably curated by the clubs owner.  Nights like this, where we all disappear into the darkness together are what bought me to the dance floor in the first place. Doppelschnepfen sind scheue Bodenbrüter in Moorgebieten. Infolge der Zerstörung und Trockenlegung ihres Lebensraums ist sie als Brutvogel in Deutschland leider vollständig verschwunden. Die letzten deutschen Brutvögel gab es in den 1930er Jahren in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Ihre Balz ist ein besonderes Naturschauspiel: In Balz-Arenen finden sich bis zu 20 Männchen zur Gruppenbalz ein. Dabei trägt jeder seinen Balzgesang vor und springt immer wieder flatternd ein bis zwei Meter in die Luft. Der Name Doppelschnepfe stammt aus der Jägersprache und bezieht sich auf die Größe des Vogels; da sie doppelt so groß wie eine Zwergschnepfe ist.

Ein untypisches Weihnachtsfest

Die Weihnachtszeit hat heute ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Das Fest ist in diesem Jahr definitiv ganz anders, als es sonst so war. Der Kreis wird auf die engsten Familienmitglieder beschränkt und innerhalb der heimischen Vierwände, sich beschenkt. So manche Tradition wird diese Weihnachten gebrochen, so haben die Kirchen und Gebetshäuser kollektiv geschlossen. Vieles läuft an diesem Heiligabend ungewöhnlich ab, doch so manches bleibt auch altvertraut. Geschenke laden unterm Baum, und auf den Weihnachtsumtrunk verzichten die Meisten, wohl kaum. Es wird gut gegessen und viel gelacht, irgendwie wird aus eigenartig, dann doch passend gemacht. Man nennt Weihnachten nicht umsonst Zeit der Besinnlichkeit, also lasst uns dankbar sein für Familie, Freunde, Wohlstand und Gesundheit.

Der heutige Podcast ist eine Weihnachts-Spezialausgabe bereitgestellt und gemixt von Käpt‘n 12 & Düsentrieb.
