Acid Breathing (Lyrics on Description)

Plucking and combing through ideas, creating neverending daydreams -- is it artful, or just nonsense?
The imagination runs wild, for most of us; that of a young one runs even wilder.

A plethora of themes streak across this final tune from the first 9 songs of The Hungry Pyknic. Although many of the characters in the song are exclusive to the story (currently unfolding and being written as we speak) comprising Toxic Fever Dreams -- taking place in the mind of a young human being who doesn't quite understand the capabilities of their mental prowess or how to reign it in, whilst they are away from home -- the story concludes such themes pervading all of the songs. Until Toxic Fever Dreams, almost all of the songs' narratives remain inconclusive in their telling, but not their message. However, TFD succeeds in wrapping The Front Nine up in a blanket of surety, but only out of surfeit does this song vindicate disparate and urgent human qualities constantly in states of ebbing and flowing, degeneration and metamorphosis, ever-spinning and never really truly stopping for a moment's notice.
What should one notice? Just ask the Fishmen.

L' Album "Vuoto Da Colmare" dell'originario duo musicale "Il Vagabondo Detto Houston" rappresenta un progetto artistico profondo e coinvolgente che mira a esplorare temi di dolore, vuoto interiore, sofferenza e resilienza attraverso la musica e la narrazione. In questo brano, gli artisti Luca e Matteo cercano di creare un ponte emotivo con il pubblico, condividendo le proprie esperienze personali e cercando di trovare conforto e connessione attraverso la condivisione delle proprie storie.
L'idea centrale del progetto nasce come un "urlo disperato" e una "chiamata d'aiuto" rivolti al pubblico, intendendo coinvolgerlo in un viaggio emotivo che rispecchia le sfide interiori degli artisti stessi. Luca e Matteo hanno dichiarato che l'obiettivo principale dell'album è di aiutare non solo se stessi, ma anche coloro che possono relazionarsi a sentimenti di vuoto e sofferenza. Questo sottolinea la natura catartica della musica, in grado di offrire conforto e comprensione a chiunque si trovi in situazioni simili.
"Vuoto Da Colmare" è un racconto che si sviluppa attraverso nove tracce, di cui quattro sono canzoni vere e proprie, mentre le altre funzionano come "rappresentazioni narrative" che creano una cornice per l'intero progetto. Questi intermezzi narrativi fungono da pause di riflessione, permettendo agli ascoltatori di immergersi ancor di più nella trama e di esplorare le emozioni e i messaggi trasmessi dall'album.
La storia nascosta che l'album intende raccontare riguarda un uomo senza nome, di cui non si conosce l'identità e il motivo del suo gesto. Questo uomo, intrappolato da un senso di vuoto abissale, si ritrova seduto di fronte al televisore in una notte priva di vita. L'album esplora i ricordi di questo uomo, dalla fiammella di una candela nella notte della sua nascita alla lettera d'addio che lasciò prima di addentrarsi in un sonno profondo e lungo. La storia rappresenta un desiderio di resistere, di lottare contro la tentazione di abbandonarsi completamente al vuoto interiore, e incarna la volontà di abbracciare la vita e tutte le sue sfaccettature.
In definitiva, "Vuoto Da Colmare" si presenta come un'opera artistica che combina musica e narrazione per affrontare temi universali come il vuoto, la sofferenza e la resilienza umana. "Il Vagabondo Detto Houston" offre agli ascoltatori un'opportunità di esplorare le loro stesse emozioni attraverso la lente di questa storia, cercando di condividere un messaggio di speranza e di forza interiore nell'affrontare le sfide della vita.
