This release is melodic and rolling enough to suit a sunset at a festival with just enough of a punch in the drums and synthwork to send a dancefloor nuts in a dark sweaty basement.

A perfect intro tune, ‘Swept Away’ starts innocently enough. Pads and gentle percussion are soon joined by the titular vocals. A high-energy build up rolls out into subtle LFO basslines and crisp, flowing percussion. Synth stabs, drum edits and vocal one-shots keep things exciting till the end. Get Swept away.

Consistently sitting on the cutting edge of the underground electronic spectrum, Itoa continues to impress following his standout 2018 'Ever Orbit' EP on dBridge's seminal, groundbreaking Exit Records, as well as a 2020 VIP follow up to 2016's 'B 2the B', which dropped to a great reception on Bad Taste. As highlighted here, his eclectic polymerisation of Breakbeat, Jungle, Acid, Trap and Funk movements continues to cement him as one of the most diverse producers in the scene.
