The typical Distrakt sound has cracked sound barriers and traveled across from Australia to knock the socks of crowds across Europe and the United States. After making his debut as a DJ back in 2006, he has been perfecting his own unique brand of dark and sinister electro/techno, also as an active producer.  He produced and played with a lot of familiar names in the music game and had remixes and original releases on labels such as Basserk (NL) Mahntrasher (GER) & Boxon records(FR). He produced tracks together with Shameboy and NT89. When he is not in his dark cave producing you could catch him out playing with Huoratron, Gtronic, NT89, Felix Cartel, Shinichi Osawa, Zombie Nation and many more.

In recent years he has found his home with the Dutch label Basserk, starting with some remixes followed up by 2 solo EP's Rompa Stompa & Lunatik. With these releases he has really defined his sound and gained support from many key players in the industry like Erol Alkan, Fake Blood, the Oddword and Huoratron. The dark stomping sounds of Distrakt are possibly the best thing Australia has to offer.
