The Melany Rez, formed out of the depths of the jam space is a trio of Oshawa locals who united their talent to bring original live off the floor music consisting of “what you hear is what you get.” All members returning to the scene with a new outlook and presence from the ashes of separate retired bands. They bring an attitude of knees locked ready to rock that resonates throughout every venue that will grace their presence. With Frank Daly (vocal/guitar) and Mark McCabe’s (drums) experience in a touring hardcore band they bring not only musical talent but also electrifying stage presence and movement while Rik Yarascavitch’s “70 percent looking sick, 30 percent skill” where looking the part is half the battle brings a mixture of style, appearance and showmanship to their live show. These three seasoned musician’s not only have the presence a live show needs but also the tunes to back it up. With Round One, their first EP consisting of original songs that make your hips swing, ears zing and hands fling their bar rock style will make even the oldest regular in the venue move at a 120 beats per minute.
