Originating from Thessaloniki - Greece, Marios InnerState Karakasidis aka Inner State developed a strong passion for music at a very early age. He first came in contact with the psy-trance genre during his studies in the UK in the late 90s.

In 2004 while deepening his knowledge on music production he started his dj career and also set out to ignite his own music productions under the name Inner State. His unique approach to music production soon gave him his first releases in 2007 and ever since, he has published numerous Eps and 2 studio albums, “Terraforma” in 2011 and “Modus Operandi” in 2015 in labels such as Iono, Spintwist, Yellow Sunshine and more. 

His sound is all about connecting with the listeners through hi-energy releases, lush atmospheric melodies and fat low end that makes the floor shake!

He recently joined powers with Tech Safari records where the musical journey continues.

District Solaris - Live Act - Maharetta Records

District Solaris is a psychedelic trance artist from the United States, whose journey into the genre began in 2016 after a life-changing experience at Dreamstate Festival in Southern California. Though his love for electronic music had been growing since childhood, it was at that moment surrounded by hypnotic rhythms and soaring melodies that psytrance truly spoke to his soul.

Returning home from the festival, he sat in front of a blank DAW session, still resonating with the soundscapes he had experienced. The music had taken him on an epic, emotional voyage an intricate blend of fast-paced basslines, alien textures, and spiritual energy. It was more than just sound; it was a full-body experience. At that moment, he understood why it was called psytrance because it envelops your consciousness and guides you through a deep inner journey.

That realization gave birth to his project: District Solaris.

Since launching in 2018, District Solaris has explored a variety of styles within the electronic music spectrum, but nothing has matched the passion and purpose he feels when creating psytrance. His productions are a reflection of that first spark a desire to create music that moves not just the body, but the spirit.

Driven by emotion, inspired by movement, and powered by intention, District Solaris continues to evolve while staying true to the journey that started it all. For him, psytrance isn’t just a genre it’s a calling.
