GlittrCat - Sunrise after burn at Titanic's End - Burning Man 2023

This Burn was challenging. The rain and mud cancelled one of the moments I was most excited for: Sunrise with the Bubbles & Bass crew. I've loved the vibes from that camp for years, from watching/listening to folks there like @N2Nmusic and David @Hohme, and it was a dream in itself to be chosen to play. I got to see some dope folks earlier in the week, including my homie Goma one afternoon and an all-femme lineup another morning. The energy and love were so high! 

With this one, I wanted to give a little funk, a little soul, a little Latinidad, and a little history (and an homage to Osunlade at the end, who would have also played that Saturday morning.) I felt drawn to record the music that would have inspired the moment. Unforgettable. Thanks so much to StephyV and Lidia Lo (who would've played after me!) for the encouragement!

Going back to the playa for my eighth burn and getting the chance to play a set with DISTRIKT for the first time was truly a dream come true. DISTRIKT has been a beloved camp where I've made countless memories over the years. The setup and sound system were totally mind-blowing, taking the crowd's energy to a whole new level. RYBO - DISTRIKT - Burning Man 2023

This past visit to the Black Rock Desert in 2023, my wonderful friends at the Groundswell camp invited me to come play a guest set on the Kuker art car. As anybody who knows me can tell you, DJing on art cars and DJing at DeMentha are my two very favourite things to do at TTITD, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity. This was the set I played that Tuesday night in the deep playa. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Hope you enjoy!

A place that needs no introduction in the Burning Man community... yet an enigma to the rest of the world! The cages... the dust storms... the once in a life time sets... and my god those SUNSETS! In 2004 The Deep End change my perception of what a dance floor should/could be... it changed the way I expected a dance floor to make me feel! It introduced me to the concept of Frisson... or as I like to call it... the “dance floor orgasm”. It had been nearly 20 years of wanting to play that incredible camp and it finally happened in 2023 alongside my dear friend Jetzen.
